I have many biases in EXO but no one can beat the amazing technique Chen has, he is by far the most powerful voice I have heard from any kpop artist. Nah. Chen has 3 octaves only. Kyuhyun of SUPER JUNIOR and Wendy of RED VELVET are the only two who have 4 octaves in K-Pop's history.

I’ve been fangirling over Chen since 2013, and I STILL squeal over his vocals after all these years. He’s considered pretty short and tiny compared to many male KPop idols yet his voice is just so explosive and beautiful

Exo really has it!! They have the best vocalists and that's a well-known fact. SM artists are really great. Please react to Nct's vocalists too. They're from SM too and they do really have great vocalists who's underrated because they're just known for their upbeat music..but they do lots of covers and ballads
I thought Chen couldn't shock me anymore with his high notes but DAMN he proved me wrong. Here was a clip I've never seen before and I didn't know he could go THAT high with his voice...
I would recommend to react to EXO Chen singing Tears from So ChanWhee on Knowing Brothers. (he sings in the original key.) I would also recommend to react to I Can see your voice where a badminton player(a male) sings Tears but just a little higher than the original key. (So ChanWhee was there herself and she said it herself)

Chen do have a great talent for singing. The song which he's doing the high notes and moving his neck is called "Drop that" e the song "eldorado" has the perfect mix of his perfect vocals. In kpop when we say PERFECT VOCALS I just can remember about Chen 🔥
Definitely agree! Chen is one of the best vocalists and is always working to perfect his craft even further. Chen has said before that there was a time where he was definitely damaging his throat a lot because of all the high notes he had to do, but he overcame that. And although his voice is already this good he and the other members, for example Baekhyun, still take vocal lessons even to this day. Just shows how passionate he is about singing and his career. I admire his dedication and genuine love for EXO and EXO-ls.

I'm a real fan of Chen's vocals and praise his vocals all the time, I like to listen to him in every phase of my emotions
Kpop idols tend to get better after they started touring. EXO held like 40-50 solo concerts per year before China banned SK and I think that improve their stamina greatly. Idk but I feel like so many of them actually improved after 1-2 tours.
