As someone who just learn Zulrah I recommend everyone learn the first and 2nd rotation instead of trying to learn the entire thing all at once. It was too overwhelming trying to learn all 4 rotations at the same time. The first 2 rotations are very similar so just focus on those. Another thing I really struggled with while learning, because no guide ever emphasizes this since most of them have extremely high defense, is that when Zulrah is Blue he will still occasionally hit you with Ranged hits. There is nothing you can do about this and they can hit up to 40. It's just part of the fight. The last tip I can give that guides briefly mention but don't really emphasize is the Jad Phase its self. The prayer needs to show before the attack animation begins. Once the attack animation begins it has already determined what your prayer is so swapping after the animation begins is too late. This means that you need to swap to the next attack after the animation begins. So if the attack is already in the air it's fine to swap to the next one because it has already determined your prayer. I really hope this helps. Zulrah is nice boss once you get the hang of it. There are just some things people who have done tons of Zulrah kills don't really think about and never go in to detail about in guides.
What you say is really helpful. I personally learned from just getting used to what comes next and trying to swap and change pray as I saw the snake color. The biggest thing for me was setting up my F keys. Using Esc for spec, F1 for inventory and F2 for prayer made such a huge difference for me personally. Snake still doesn't die quickly enough for me being at 90+ range and mage... and that mage phase is obnoxious. Not too hard to get used to though. One thing I heard that you can do to learn is not attack once you get into the fight and wait to see if the second phase is melee making it rotation 1 or 2. If it comes back up as range/mage just log and restart. Makes for much slower kills but gives you the phase you want to learn without having to tp out and come back.
Hey bud, just wanted to point out that the "Jad" phase isn't like Jad, it's not a random attack, and it's not determined by the prayer you currently have up. Each "jad" rotation (i.e. east jad, west jad, middle jad) have a specific attack style it will use first, every single time you get to that phase. And then it just alternates the attacks between range and mage. For example, west Jad rotation will always use range attack first, while the east jad will always start with mage attack
Don't beat him up just find out where his expensive stuff is trade that info to pros for dollars tell em what's the big ticket items you know and baboom not your problem now
You should also mention for barrows to do your runs on world 30 the house party world, since anyone can get a house in Rimington for 1k. It's very easy to find someone's open house on world 30 making it so you can tab after barrows and use an ornate pool to heal to max and get prayer with no requirements.
Just to let everyone know, you can safespot the mage phases and use bp to kill the snakelings, greatly reducing damage taken. This is incredibly helpful for pures

For those looking for an ACTUAL EASY boss I recommend Sarachis, its great for beginners looking to learn the basics of bossing rather than just praying a single prayer like at barrows.
I used to use Ice Barrage or Biltz back in the day with the Black Sally. Freeze then attack with sally on an angle so they can’t hit you but your sally can
Ok not doing vet'ion for a while because it's gonna be pk'd like crazy after this video. But the method is quite useful. That black salamander barrows run is hilarious, as someone who over gears for everything I love seeing people do bosses with little to no gear.
vetion is not a pk hotspot and i dont think it will be. its not like venenatis or scorpia; the only people who go down to vetion are people doing MA2 because its right next to a possible spawn point of one of the god monsters.
Just Google bonus xp nmz monsters and select the top 5 of those. DO NOT select any monsters that do not give bonus XP. Here's a list: Ice Troll King, Jungle Demon, Slagilith, Arrg, Dad, Black Knight Titan,Moss giant.
Died 17 times before was able to get first zulrah kill for diary. Got it after leaving range switch and only used mage (suck at switches). Doing vorkath u dont have to switch anything just bolts and click click its super chill and "half afk".
I like this I could do all 4 bosses on my 13def purse even rex with blood healing n white armor would be pain but I've done alot rex even on 30def pure just trying to get dks pet on a pure
Once you learn zulrah she is easy but learning her is not exactly easy or cheap with the price of antivenom. Other 3 bosses are easy but dagganoths might be a bit packed sometimes. And wildy bosses are not really that worth the risk.
yeahh i did chaos ele the other day and it was complete and utter fucking crap. looking through vetions drops his arent too great either. another thing i hate about wildy bossing is that because you have to 3/4 item you lose out on bringing a good powerful setup most of the time. even the setup theo was using can be smited (though the flail is shit and cheap) with the additional loss of the salve ammy.
Zulrah is easy once you've died like 20 times to understand the mechanics. The learning curve is steep, but after that it's ok'ish, not easy. Yous till need a good setup
REX: i always bring stamina pot (2) to run through the dangeon- that's how many sips you need to get there, then when you've used the second dose you end up having another spot in your inventory for a drop 1 prayer pot (4) honestly just in case because you barely pray once you get to the safespot about 10 pieces of monkfish because getting to the safespot sometimes is really pain in the ass... also 2 antidote++ (4) for poison protection (from spinolyp -s -es?) the rest stays the same. cool to have guthan's to heal up if you can afford and wear it.
vet'ion is easily soloable with 1 def, so you may want to add an annotation or something because you said its a req to have like around 70 in all melee stats
@L Anthony B completely serious. The animation is different for range and mage attack. If it stomps, it is range. If it stands on it's hind legs, it is mage. There's also something where you can watch the back leg or something, but I don't know that one.

You can do barrows with a red salamander and 60 base combat stats, you just need to bring 3 prayer pots instead of 1 lol

When you can safe spot it in multiple ways, it is easy. If you try to fight it straight up, quite difficult. So don't do that.

That Zulrah doesn't look easy at all. That looks way harder than Jad, and I still haven't even killed that yet. Prayer flicking isn't easy.
Jad is definitely easier.
With jad it is audio that alerts you to its attack. Whereas with zulrah its visual. Much easier doing zulrah
