Isn't it amazing Parth is coaching TSM at this worlds when he's always been slotted in >against his preferenceone< exception (probably because the other teams boomed harder, or the stars on the team just went above and beyond). I put tsm last in their group because of that history going into this with a botlane that's worse than in 2016/2017, with a less flexible toplaner (even though he seems to carry better), a rookie jungler and a Bjergsen that has to be working with a heart so broken that it's legendary if it still beats with any vision of victory. I mean, good luck, anything's possible, etc, but it's weird that Parth is the only person in the world who can coach tsm(?)
Parth enables the way the players (bjergsen/DL) wants to play the game. The players don't buy into the system mean their performance will drop and then get their good friend owner reginald to swoop in and destabilize the current coaching system. A lot of the drafts you see are reflective of their scrim results and players wanting these picks. The real yikes is TSM dropped their bot lane because they got dumpster in worlds. They bring the same exact bot lane and now are doing the exact same thing except far worse performances. That's how shit NA is when that lineup can succeed in the LCS but repeat the same performance at worlds and they will be content.
@@WithRhetoric I mean, it would've been more fun if it was against a team people actually considered unbeatable. Imagine doing that to Damwon and people would've had no choice but to give the team that handed them a loss some respect. Because it's G2 people will always just consider it the classic G2 group stage game they lose against a worse team.
25:40 I can't believe no one mentioned that AWFUL trade of Ezreal flash and Shen ulti to kill Kramer that ended up with NOTHING except the kill...Kramer even laughed on the player cam as it happened knowing this was stupid and, wouldn't you know it, 2 minutes later flashless Dlift gets caught by Naut ult, can't escape and they lose an inhib off it. TSM is so bad, they didn't win NA, everyone else around them just collapsed.
Yeah i just dont know why tsm fans being tsm fans this is why im c9 im ok woth us losing and i know the problems we got deppressed but im happy we didnt go to world with a depress state i just hate tsm fans not noticing problems
TSM just keeps picking low damage comps and can't sustain damage through the fights, so they have to rely on getting a pick before a fight, but when they finally find a pick, they don't even push for an objective to get a 5v4. Put Bjergsen on a high damage mage instead of a burst assassin, put Doublelift on any autoattacker, put biofrost on a tank (Ali/Leo), Brokenblade on a fighter in top lane and Spica on a tank. BB is a good top laner who can go toe to toe with most players if he plays the right champs. Irelia, Jax etc are way better options than Shen. Spica is the "noob" on the team. Put him on a tank so he can be the meat shield for the carries, rather than putting him on a champ that has to snowball himself and his team. It's too much responsibility, and he's honestly not skilled enough. Bjergsen is so good with control mages, he will keep pumping out damage, and assassins are shit these days with so many items countering their burst. Doublelift will benefit from the others playing these types of champs too, as he will end up with 2 tanks and a fighter in front of him. Biofrost isn't good enough to time range engages. It's literally his biggest flaw. And he is way too vulnerable when he doesn't play a tank. That first Ezreal death could have been avoided if Bio played an aftershock tank. TSM needs new coaches and they really need to do something about the team mentality. You can't make Bjergsen the carry during this meta while putting him on an assassin.
I don't consider it a fluke, because I don't think G2 is that good compared to last year either. They're not clean and they have very INTersting drafts, also the meta is really bad for them, because they can't play around their jungler... They're just weaker compared to last year. It just depends on what G2 drafts,if they have bad draft they will lose against TL, because they're not that far above from them.
Actually dude xd, thats the meta, playing around the jungle, but they are not follosing thay mindset, they playing for mid and letting jankos get chited on by better drafts

@Alex Briggs EU is currently worse, or at least less stable, than it was last year and the year before. Whilst EU might've taken a step forward or so, China/Korea have taken two or three.
Was it a fluke? If 80% of G2s fans could predict that they G2 were gonna lose to TL off of some horrible draft or a level 1, then is it really flukey? G2 does shit like this a lot, it's just in their dna. They are a better team than TL, but they can easily lose games to them off draft or levels 1s or CoreJJ playing out of his mind, and that's not "flukey"
I think G2 are trying to train Jankos because it's a jungle meta and if you don't have carry jungler you're not gonna win worlds. I'm sure they can beat TL and make top 4 just based on Caps being a genius but they want to win so they're trying to make that happen but it doesn't look promising. Jankos should have practised these champs when everything was going smoothly and he had time and not in between worlds games but now it's too late. If G2 had Selfmade, Canyon, Pyosik, Karsa, Sofm, Inspired or Kanavi they'd probably be going to the finals. But like this, i'd say semis is their cieling unles Jankos makes some massive improvements.
@@tomatofarmerlarry3331 @mangustination RNG had UZI and played around him sometimes they got to finals an sometimes they got eliminated in quarters. Just because you have a good player doesn't mean it's enough. Nidalee is one of the most important picks at worlds so far and G2 knows if they can't adapt to this meta they won't make it as far as they could. They know they will make it out of groups but they want to optimize their chances in this tournament. "Jankos isn't bad on carry junglers" good joke.
This is the same result every year for na so I hope this time teams really try something new next year. Team staff needs overhaul. Ditch the "analysts" and "coaches" that are tenured in without a shred of high elo gameplay experience. Or keep shitting the bed and embarrassing the region. Your call NA!
at least they got a fluke win, maybe we see more na for a bit over it, gives na more time to see how this shit actually works on stage--more time to see them do poorly is more time to snap out of the delusion yk--i still cannot believe the rakan twitch shit, like twich should get shit on every single game, he's good, but the only reason it even worked prior to worlds is because it was vs na teams... so sad that they can't even see ahead to how other teams will play around it
If TL beating G2 where TL ultra-punishes G2's level 1 disrespect and G2 doesn't even come close to getting back is a fluke, what does that make Fnatic beating GenG where Fnatic ultra-punishes GenG's level 1 disrespect and GenG ALMOST CAME back? Really, I understand why LS doesn't want to alienate Fnatic as he's homies with Nemesis and Bwipo and has a cordial relationship with Selfmade, but c'mon, bruh, LS is definitely biased with his flame. Understandably so, but still biased.
Its because they feel that G2 threw (the draft) more than TL won, I would love to think that TL would be able to beat them if they had a normal draft and im hopeful but I'm not gonna hold my breath till I see the games tonight
It is like Jets beating Patriots. It's one Team overperforming while the other underperforms it is unlikley an thus it is not unreasonable to call it a fluke.

@@Gurpreet-sv5zg I like how you just echoed my point, whilst oversimplifying it, strawmanning, and spinning it into a narrative, without realizing it yourself. That very matchup, TL vs. G2, G2 blundered their own draft, which is unlike them, and shouldn't be expected to happen going forward. Despite the draft, they still kept themselves in a fairly comfortable position which they never should've been allowed to be in the first place, and lost the game purely on the back of their own mistakes whilst in the driver's seat, which I will not bother to explain to a simpleton like you - go watch the game with a analyst's co-stream - which gave the game away completely to TL, and ended shortly thereafter. The mistakes G2 committed in that match are not the norm, and shouldn't be expected to be the norm. G2 literally gave the game away, and TL did nothing proactive of note to make it happen.
The problem with TSM is the fucking owner/CEO and all the higher-ups, not the coach.
People really think TL boutta go 3-0 or 2-1 next week lmaoooo
Nah, it was just nice to see G2 get a beatdown from the region with "no chance to win"
TL beating IG = Fluke
TL beating G2 = Fluke

@Stasss did I say they were getting out? Maybe take some time and read buddy
Wild card regions upsetting a main region team always in one game always happens at worlds.
Man Dgon is just such an awesome dude
Dgon with the heat today damn
Out of context but, can someone tell me why all the loco references? Did something happen with him/to him? Why is he not making content anymore?
Only thing I can recall is him just saying he was going to stop making league content. He didn't love league anymore or feel motivated.

With exactly how many people LS lives since he needs to use a mask in front of the screen?
From what I've seen, LS for some reason is really self conscious about his teeth. Hiding his mouth while laughing, holding back smiles when casting, so maybe he just likes the excuse to have a mask?

@Alex Briggs I meant eu. na peaked in 2016 and kept free falling since.
@Alex Briggs EU is currently worse, or at least less stable, than it was last year and the year before. Whilst EU might've taken a step forward or so, China/Korea have taken two or three.
In before TL beat G2 again and finish second. But for tho, I want to agree but we’ll only know for certain tomorrow so I reserve judgment until then.
Honest question, who is Dgon, I know everyone else? Just curious they don't really do intro's every ep like Hotline League/the dive lol.
They just fucked around with Drafts cause they thought they were way better than other teams. They even admitted they are overly cocky
Ah darn. I thought Broxah did ok with invades and stuff. Glad they got the win still.
Hecarim loves your content!
Not really buddy ... G2 is outclassed in pretty much every role ... Making jankos better doesn't do anything.
Jankos isn't bad on carry jg, it's just that why would you play around jg when you have caps who is strongest player on team.
LEC fans said LEC donot have korean imports, why are you talking about G2 has that players??????????
JGD barely got out of groups and they beat TSM? RIP.

Light hurts his eyes.
Holy shit it actually happened
I don't think they gave enough credit to TL bot lane for punishing greedy picks on the G2 side
Rogue alphari next year?
at least they got a fluke win, maybe we see more na for a bit over it, gives na more time to see how this shit actually works on stage--more time to see them do poorly is more time to snap out of the delusion yk--i still cannot believe the rakan twitch shit, like twich should get shit on every single game, he's good, but the only reason it even worked prior to worlds is because it was vs na teams... so sad that they can't even see ahead to how other teams will play around it
Remember TSM is a 1 seed.....a 1 seed. How riot gave NA this is actually a joke. I'd give the top LCS team a 2 seed AT MOST.
My prediction for groups.
a. G2 and sunning
b. rogue and dwg
c. Fnatic and geng
d. Top and drx
i had the same but based on performance think Finn is too much of a liability for rge to make it out.
JDG and LGD better than rougue and fnatic

why is LS wearing a mask inside?
Far be it from LS to ever admit an NA team outplayed an EU team. Kek
So why are you wearing a mask when you are alone in your room?
I hate the NA prio on voli.. Especially over Ornn
They kept getting shit on by voli with what they precieved to be their strong picks.
I'll say it again I'm so mad bjerg stayed with tsm when contract was up and got tied into them...
He got paid mad cash, seems alright with that
TL beats G2 off snowballing a level 1. Yes G2's draft was bad but it feels like there's nothing NA teams can do to get credit from u guys
The draft was for experimenting
One team plays poorly, one team plays well. We see this in all sports at a higher level. How is that a fluke...?
It is like Jets beating Patriots. It's one Team overperforming while the other underperforms it is unlikley an thus it is not unreasonable to call it a fluke.

Was it a fluke? Yeah, but it still happened on the stage where you only get 6 chances, and G2 shit the bed on one of those chances. They could Mad Lions it.
What is the logic you're trying to push?
A fluke's a fluke. It's not expected, and it's not TO BE expected. Context matters.
@@YourFavouriteDraugr How is that a fluke? If anything this shows more of G2 2020 isn't G2 2019 where if they have a draft that doesn't suit their style that a team of TL level can beat them.
@@Gurpreet-sv5zg Did you watch the game or at the very least the video under which you're commenting...
@@YourFavouriteDraugr How is it a fluke? G2 get exploited for over extending? Happens a lot. That comp they used has been used by dwg sans a different bot lane pick. Did you watch the game or are you one of those g2 never lost a single game they're limit testing?
It also has no relevance to previous G2 games, nor games they'll play in the future, so do the smart thing and refer away from idiotic narratives you want to believe to try to avoid context. Off you fuck.
