The two cars certainly evoke their 1970 ancestors: the Porsche 917 had an aesthetically cleaner line than the Ferrari 512S (the 512M then improved aerodynamics and performance): it is interesting that perhaps one of the most beautiful prototypes of all time, in my opinion, is the PENSKE team blue 512M which is the same team as the current Porsche 963.

Nice video, I had gone to have a look in the afternoon. By then the track was not so wet anymore. Does give a nice effect behind those prototypes/sports cars/hypercars.

I would say dry pace also, I saw another video from when the track was I'll say about 95% dry and the Porsche was struggling to take eau rouge and raidillon flat while the Ferrari came flying up it flat out right after, and in the video they they cut together consecutive laps and the Ferrari went from behind the Porsche to about a second up the road after like 4 laps

Essentially 4 wheel drive for Ferrari . Porsche hybrid only on rear wheels as per LMDH rules.

Peugeot will be conducting an endurance test in the next few days at ricard. They will be replacing the gearbox actuator to which they didn't have the new one ready for sebring and were expecting gearbox issues to arise ti which they did unfortunately. I also believe ferrari have just completed an endurance test at portimao. She's shaping up to be a cracker of a season..... I hope lol.
