  • The Austin housing market is remains a strong sellers market in spite of an increase in active listings with a monthly housing inventory of less than 3 months. The number of sales has also increased, another indicator of a strong seller's market. Despite headlines suggesting a decline, average sales prices have actually increased as well!
    The market within the city of Austin differs from the suburbs, with more people moving to the suburbs due to affordability. Days on market have decreased, indicating high demand.
    For sellers, it's important to consider individual circumstances and market conditions. For buyers, now may be a good time to purchase before interest rates drop and competition among buyers increases.
