I love fisherman's knot! Never thought of using it with yarn though. Tip for anyone is to use it on your shorts/pant strings so they don't get lost or in the way and are also easy to loosen and tighten.
@@hollyphillips7597how do you tie them into another knot, aren’t the pieces you connect attached to balls of yarn. the first knot is usually strong enough, making another knot just seems like it’ll make it a bulky knot that will look bad in the project Using glue makes it so you can strengthen the connecting knot if you want to make it stronger without needing another knot which will make the joined yarn look more noticeable
I'm using Aleene's Fabric Fusion Quick Dry, which is a permanent fabric glue that works on acrylic and can be machine washed and dried after 24 hours. I found other fabric glues also work. Thanks so much! 😊

I like to use Aleene's Fabric Fusion Quick Dry version. It's a nice flexible fabric glue that is permanent and the finished item can be both machine washed and dried.
If the yarn is slippery like bamboo yarn, or if the items is heavily used like a handbag, the fabric glue on the knot helps give it some extra security.
It depends upon the glue. I like fabric glue (Aleene's Fabric Fusion is my current favorite, although there are other good ones out there) because after it dries, it is permanent, the item can be machine washed and dried, plus it dries flexible so there's no hard lump.

Exactly! And yes, that knot is perfect with anything with drawstrings!
Thank you for making it ok to use glue. I've been dying to!
Happy to help! Fabric glue works great on yarn too!
After I close it tight... I tie them in a knot as that makes me feel better then using the glue...

I’m new to crocheting!! I’m so scared my projects will undo; thank you this tip!!! ❤ Can I ask what glue do you recommend?
Even without fabric glue, it works great! ❤
Most definitely! Fabric glue is certainly optional.
I use this one A LOTTT ❤❤😊
Awesome!
What type of glue are you using? Will it work with acrylic yarn and is it machine wash and dry. Love your channel ❤

There's no need to use glue!

🖤 I've never used the glue 🤭... It would dry hard, right???... That'd be my only problem 😃🖤
