the "retaining clip" on the 04 Impreza I had drove me nuts..... I don't think it has ever been in the correct position even when I bought it. holy balls.
sam highbeam is a tiny light to the inside of the low beam, it’s also your auxiliary lighting when you don’t switch any lights on. He changed the low beam it’s just a bigger looking bulb than you would think

Technically it's a running light. The lowbeam is hidden in the top of the housing.
