4:18 to 5:36 makes me cry everytime! believe it or not... thats the par that i LOVE with the vocals..spencer does a freaking incredible job there!! even tough this is one of the least fav songs on the periphery album... this one part..for me is the PEAK of the album!
Always preferred this version of the song. I don't know how to describe it, but I just think it sounds better in Drop A instead of Drop Ab (like on the first Periphery album).
I personally love the way that Spencer's vocals accommodate the music. He has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard and only his voice could match Misha's music. I like the instrumentals, but I love Periphery's versions.
@@Jethrospect wish the production didn't make the vocals overshadow so much underneath that section, I really want them to do a 10 year re-recording and remaster but I'll be jamming the old shit till then haha
See i agree with you, but at the same time, i LOVED Perphery I, and dont care much for Periphery II, everyone says the vocals are better, but i think the melodies the second singer comes up with are shit. Perpherys strength is in instrumentals (Bulb) with a small focus on the melody of the voice. In my opinion.
where has this music been all my life???? just discovered bulb a few days ago and cant stop listening!!!! this blows anything mainstream away!!!!!
oh man 4:18 onwards how can you not jump in with a "THIS WORLD......"!!!!!!
So fucking huge

4:18 5:36
5:00 Wooooooaaahhhhhh
awesome tones and mix

Especially the clean section at 4:18

4:18 - 4:54 is pure magic
the whole song should be like this
It's the climax of the whole album. Still holding up even until now. So f-ing love it!

@@pandoratypography If they make a remake of this album, I'll be the happiest person.
That intro is so fucking awesome!
I agree with some of the commenters below. Love this key a lot better. Song sounds less depressive and more "haunted".
Love this sound.
Ou!... Mai filings...
Where Meshuggah ends ; Bulb takes over............
Bulb! My Feelings
4:53
Amazing shit. I think I even like this version better than the one published by Periphery.
This is a good cover but it's peripherys song so naturally they did it best
+Brandon - It's Misha Mansoor's original composition, and this is his demo.
It's not a cover. 👍
Your profile picture is the reaction I had when Blueskythinking made that comment haha
JW Corcoran - lol
@@sund3r A bit harsh but I dislike them more every time they drop an album, PIII made me want to vomit it had so much unnecessary garbage
It was Casey Sabol in Racecar, not Barretto
ball crushing opening riff...
and racecar. best fucking song ever!!
@neilorourke71 Listen to the final version, he crushes even more balls!
@ERICKCOELHO2 def the best part
Mind sending me a link to the picture? :O It's almost as amazing as this song.
So what you're saying is you like Misha "Bulb" Mansoor better than Misha Mansoor?
do you know where i can find the album?
@masbuddha that's exactly what i think!
Two people don't have lives and like to hate on good music:D
what do you mean by periphery versions?
way better than the periphery version distortion makes it.
2 people had their feelings hurt
im pretty sure chris barretto is only on the first record for like a single line in racecar. other then that its all spencer
Russ Frank that's elliot
and there's some Casey Sabol screams in there too on Racecar. "Refuse the violent source of pain that made you...
Left to deny" is Casey.
