  • Fading History" is a project launched by Stories of Tibetans with the generous support of the Tibet Fund. This initiative aims to capture the oral history of Tibet by preserving the stories shared by our elder generation, who witnessed an independent Tibet. The interviews encompass a wide array of topics, including culture, religion, food, clothing, festivals, language, lifestyle, and more. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tibet Fund for their invaluable funding, which has been instrumental in making this project a success.
Stories of Tibetans documents the lives of Tibetans in diaspora, spanning various backgrounds and age groups. The project's primary goal is to make this content accessible to intellectuals, students, and particularly to our future generations, offering them insights into Tibetan heritage. Furthermore, our aim is to unite Tibetans worldwide and collectively strive for the cause of Tibet.

Only a handful of the elders who had fled Tibet along with His Holiness remain. They'll gradually pass away and with them, the stories of destruction, torture, and gross inhuman suffering inflicted by the CCP on Tibetans will fade away. The new generation seems least bothered, showing no inclination whatsoever toward Tibet's cause, always hooked on to anything other than Tibet are grim signs of sad things to come in the near future.

Why we lost our nation its a big question and who is responsible for that. We Tibetan should think without bias.

The way she expressed her feelings very emotional.
but no hate tho why she didn’t teach her own children about our cultures.
I knew her daughters don’t even know how to speak Tibetan lang also both her daughters married with black and Yinji🤦🏻‍♂️nowadays even elders people only mouths there is no action 🤦🏻‍♂️

I love how you start your comment by saying “…no hate…” when in fact, that is all your views emanate. Your comment in itself reflects that you were able to absorb so little from all of the significant information she wholeheartedly shared during her interview. Whether or not you knew her daughters and what lives they choose to lead-no one asked. You do not have any business passing negative judgment on what they choose to do (or do not) in their personal lives.
That also to make such rude remarks to our elders.
Let’s lift one another up in our small Tibetan societies-not drag one another down with our petty comments 🙏🏻

I felt sorry for Tenzin la
He seems to know me more then myself 😅 both my daughter’s can speak our language 😂 as far as i know my elder daughter’s ex husband is Tibetan and my younger daughter is married to Croatian !!!
Our prime purpose in our life is to help others. And if you can’t help them at least don’t hurt them our beloved Chenrezig is always teaching us again again
