Whenever I want to be alone I become a recluse and use that time to myself to either read a book and get lost in that world but sometimes I go surfing because it's my happy place and it has gotten me through really tough mental breakdowns. But since I've been busy with work and university especially since I'm a marine biology major. I find myself going to batting cage to hit some baseballs because it's been a long ass time since I've done anything baseball related since high school. But yeah I prefer being alone because it gives me a sense of peace in some weird way because I don't have to worry about what's going on around me

That very specific voice in my head that I had for 21 years now(since my birth) keeps me in a good mood to be honest and I'm never really alone.
What a great attitude, and great advice. Learning to love yourself and enjoy your own company is such a huge benefit. It can be really hard sometimes.
