César, you really are both an amazing artist and person. Despite I like digital illustration, you show me that nothing compares to the human hability for drawing and painting. Congrats from Spain
Thank you for putting out this video! There are lots of zorn palette-type videos out there but they dont often approach it this well or in this way. This helps a ton in giving me the understanding of these color combinations and their relation to other existing colors I might have around
You are so underated on the net. But not to people who love what you do. Best believe that all the subscribers are real fans of yours. You are a genious bro
Oh Cesar! Those turned forms on the calves! Drifting into the shadows with just a temperature shift to delineate the edge of the form. And this is the first painting or maybe even the under painting. Just amazing. Shows such discipline on the palette, maintaining clean hues on the palette without shifting too hot or cold I find to be tricky with the Zorn palette. Very controlled. Nicely painted. Looking forward to seeing more of it. Cheers
Cesar, muchas gracias por su canal, sus enseñanzas y recomendaciones. Le quedo muy agradecido. Cuidese mucho . Le mando un cordial y atento saludo, a la espera de su próxima entrega. Salud

I use all around cleaning wipes to clean my pallete. If I run out, I use baby wipes, work well on glass pallete, also before I wash my brushes, I use these wipes.
I’ve read that the Fayum portrait painters used a limited, like what we call Zorn, palette. Are you familiar with the mummy portraits? Mummy portaits are amazing, encauastic, first century images. Thank you for a wonderful channel
Hi ,thank you for sharing this knowledge, I made a portrait allaprima using this palette but using the ultramarin blue instead of black ,but the hightlits cool are loosing croma and saturation ,can you tell me why this happend please?? Thank you again, by the way I'm cuban too.greetings
Also, you must have lots of Italian in you! Waaaay too much hand movement when you speak! You know how to mute an Italian? Tie their hands behind their back!! 😂😂

Very awesome to see you color mixing here! It’s cool to see what you can achieve with just a limited palette.
One day, I’d love to hangout and paint with you. Your knowledge and expertise of presenting it in a casual conversational way is amazing.

This is marvelous, the demo broken down gives the right combinations for flesh colors that have been difficult for me.

Since I have been using the zorn palette, I have learned that the important thing is not to reproduce a color, but to simulate it.
I love the relaxing tone of your voice as you explain this.

So, basically, Zorn plus ultramarine could cover almost all bases. Great video Cesar, thanks.
Agradesco a Ud por esto video! Una idea mas bonita para mezclar varios colores

Wow amazing dear friend.....😍
New subscriber
But Anders Zorn used Vermilion Instead of Cadmium Red, Isn't it? It makes me confuse😥😥😥
Te dejo un tip 14:01 si utilizas toallitas de bebé, de una pasada dejas la paleta impecable. Saludos.
Hello Mr.cesar santos How to protect oil painting from fungus?
Very interesting,. Could it be practical to mix colors directly on the canvas?

Zorn palette is surprisingly capable. Interesting, few weeks ago Andrew Tischler tried it, with amazing result. Great video!
Strange my raw umber mix with white does not make a grey color.
