In case anyone else is reading this or math sorcerer is reading this,
It’s completely possible to do anything you set your mind to. I had a GED, I fucked up multiple times. I am in my late 30s and I am trying to get my life back on track. That said nothing has stopped me from thinking about and working on hard problems. Math Sorcerer has been a huge inspiration to me to take things to the next level and actually apply myself. fwiw, I am really interested in abstract algebra, game theory, algebraic topology and analytical geometry, with applications in computer science. I have done a few online courses on real analysis, abstract algebra and nonlinear dynamics. My primary interests are in chaos theory. I have worked hard and I have gained a good grasp of these problems. I felt like a fuck up for years.

thx bro needed that. Sometimes while studying I'll notice that it takes me longer to understand things than other people and I just can't help but wonder if all this study is for nothing, like what if I have some ceiling and can never reach the level I want to. I'm 30 as well, and I always worry about the possibility I didn't start early enough.

    I am a 17 year old and
Im currently preparing for the O levels which is an exam you take at the 10th grade. I failed my Maths Last year and now Im preparing for this exam as a Private candidate. Im taking only Elementary maths and I do not need Any Additional maths Background for Aeronautical engineering for a Polytechnic.
However I will definitely be behind when I hopefully enter year 1 next year so Im currently Managing Emaths and Learning things like Pre Calculus in Khan Academy.
I thank you for this Video Mr. Sorcerer it would be great if you have Any advice for me.

When I was in junior high and high school, Calculus was like some kind of monster to be feared. I mean, I always saw it as something I'd never be able to do until recently. I'm very happy to know I actually can do some calculus. Right now I do simple calculus problems and I'm working through a Calculus textbook that is 1 semester and probably doesn't have much trigonometry. I think people only need a lot of determination to do things and they shouldn't let others discourage them. Do you what want and have no regrets later.

On your math courses, could you please list them by level. I know it should be intuitive, but the first class listed is calculus.

I am a 13 year old boy who is naturally bad at maths. I am bad at anything math related but I want to learn calculus before grade 11 and 12. I have broken down into tears because I couldn't think of anything and I have brain fog. I am sort of lost and I wanted to ask you for help. I am purposefully self-learning maths instead of having a tutor because I want to be able to self-learn.
    Thank you.

Something kinda similar is happening to me, I didn't enter college right after graduation so I'm 2 years older than the usual age, Im studying physics and trying to learn pure math by myself but sometimes I feel not capable of understanding and work on my own ideas in math and physics. I look up to people like Hardy, Hilbert, Sobolev and get amazed everytime I think of their work and trying to get some motivation to study math like them did but I feel dumb and not smart enough, I want to learn and understand the topics and get a good grasp on the fundamentals but at the same time, the procrastination, the absence of discipline and the thought of "Maybe this isn't for me" gets me and makes feel bad.
What advice could you give me to keep moving on?

Persistence. As a rookie, I have a theory that 1/27 is the 3D rate of quantum gravity, but as a dropout myself, pushing this theory uphill is very hard. Any advice?
Video below to as strong an explanation I can muster with my experience.
