Hermes Story - A Shelter Dog's Journey

Hermes is an abandoned Staffordshire Bull Terrier, left stranded on the island of Corfu. There are few - if any - Staffies on the island, and so his rehoming has been more difficult than others. For over a year and a half now he has languished in a shelter. While not good with other dogs, he is an absolute sponge for human affection. He has shown a willingness to learn. The only issue for Hermes is that he would require someone to come to the island and pick him up directly, to then drive him home, as he is not comfortable in a crate, which rules out any possibility of air travel or general pet transport.
