Postpartum depression is caused by the dramatic drop of hormones after child birth. So male postpartum depression wouldn't be the term I would use.

She has too many sisters to get bullied. Riley and Blayke won’t have it at all and everybody else will follow suit! And plus Hazel knows how to handle herself and stick up for herself. I wish somebody would try to bully her! Lol
I've noticed this in boys/men/males whatever you wanna call them, but guys tend to really get bothered when their kids have problems. Moms kind of accept it and move on, guys too! But I think men can be really protective and want their kids to be "perfect," to have no problems, women too! But women I feel tend to be more accepting of situations like this. It's just something I have personally noticed. What do you think?

I think Adam just feels like Hazel is going to feel like the odd one out, I think he needs to just think of it as something that makes her all the more precious to him and special. It's ok that she's different, she's one of 5! When she's older she's going to want to show off those differences and be her own person anyway. She gets alone time with her parents bc of it, I'm sure at this point it's just a fun little trip she gets to take with Mummy and Daddy albeit one caused by her health conditions.

My nephew has a similar condition to Hazel. He also wears glasses, which improved his life. As for astigmatism, that is curable. My father and I both have it, and we take Vitamin A to improve our eyesight.

Lol his eyes are always wide open, but it makes him look like he is more aware and concerned about his kids, wife and things in general. He’s very emotional too and you can see that easily when his eyes are wide open. But it is kind of funny lol, everyone has their quirks.

This happened to me when I was a baby. The only thing was it just I had a lazy eye and needed an eye patch. I had a very very short chance of getting sight in my right eye and then god blessed me enough so I can have 20-20 vision!!😀. I will pray to God about Hazel. She deserves so much better.

I was thinking that maybe Adam is worried that getting glasses is just one more way that Hazel will stand out as 'different' among the quints. Maybe that's the particular way he was feeling in the car that he couldn't seem to label/describe. Yes, she is unique! God bless her!

That's Adam's little girl, he probably doesn't want her to be the target to the bullies in the future.
This is beyond just wearing glasses. Hazel has an eye condition called Nystagmus that will really impact her life. The uncontrollable eye movements, she may not be able to do things like drive, etc when she’s older. Also the possibility of bullying she could face for being “different”, kids can be ruthless.
@@xkimmiex92 the differences in her eyes are not obvious from the outside. I couldnt notice any differences in the last episodes.And her parents are so careful about her issues. I believe she will be okay in the future too and nobody can bully her just because of this issue...
She’s very young. But one of the most intelligent people I know. When she told us she was on the show we became instant fans. I love meg so much(her husbands lil cousin)

I was Hazel when I was her age. I had the same eye surgery and treatment. I have done patching multiple times and have had a total of six eye surgeries. I showed the Hazel clips about her eyes to my mom and it made her cry. She said she had the same emotion as these parents.

Adam loves his girls and he loves his Hazel. Throughout all of the episodes you can see he loves having the girls experience and go through things together and similarly. I think hazel getting glasses is another difference for one of the girls that would set her apart and he doesn’t like that.

Know I now how my parents felt when I was a baby because I am legally blind with three different eye impairments. I had to have a similar surgery like Hazels to make the muscle stronger and I had to wear an eye patch on my right eye to make my left eye stronger. But if I didn't have any of the eye surgeries I had when I was a baby I would be completely blind and I am almost 16 years old
i agree with the mom he should be positive I mean I would take glasses anytime. And also he should be happy that she doesn't have to go through any surgerys. I'm so glad about how hazel has been dealing with it. She is such a positive little girl
