    I got a chuckle when you pulled the "finger cots" out of the bag. My mind went exactly where I think yours did! lol I agree that some sort of instructions or at the very least, photos should have been included. Thanks Christine, for sharing this with us.

    Hi Christine, great little bag. If you’re going to be showing it off at your dance group, any chance we can see you and Chris in action on the dance floor? Would love to see that

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes of course Carole, though Chris has been out of action this year with his shoulder reconstruction so we've done very little dancing.
      Did you know we have a TH-cam channel where we teach dancing? There are a couple of dance clips as well as heaps of lessons over there at Rockin' Nagambie 😀 Here's one of our dances. I'm in the yellow dress closest to the stage th-cam.com/video/YVOD0PIri7U/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Rockin%27Nagambie

      Just wonderful. Thanks so much for a very interesting and informative YT channel. I’ve made some of your shoe/storage bags and they’ve gone down extremely well. I always look forward to your videos

    Nice work Christine. It's funny how you said you would prefer written instructions when thousands of us watch your tutorials to replicate your creations 😀

      You're right Jane. I thought the same thing when I made that comment. I love to watch video tutorials, and learn how other make their items.
      I know when I used to sell my bag and quilt kits, I always provided written patterns. I guess I was surprised that there was nothing in the package.
      I can be a bit of a negative Nancy sometimes.... What if the power were out, and our internet was down? How would I sew? This is actually a common occurence in our little town. I probably should stop thinking like that! 😁🤣

    I did a Babylon Leather bag around Christmastime (got a great discount on it!) and really enjoyed putting it together. I sew leather by machine so it was a treat to hand sew it. I do find some of their kit prices to be super expensive.

      I really enjoyed doing this one. It was my first leather project 😀

    That’s a lovely idea for a gift,I agree with you a picture of the bag would have been good and the assembly details.Lovely bag thanks for sharing

    Congratulations on your first leather bag assembly. Your braver than I, with my arthritic hands machine sewing is all I enjoy doing these days. So glad to see you are getting freebies from vendors to sew & demo for us. Hopefully there are more to follow. Happy Holidays & have fun dancing the nights away.

    Nice to mix things up sometimes. Hubby is getting into leather work and bag making and called it a paint by numbers project, 😆 rude bugga. I enjoyed it and agree on the printed instructions. You don't get them for anything any more!

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha, perhaps hubby would like my diamond dots project. Just not keen on that one🤪

      I'd like to add that I meant that in a positive way! 😂 These kits look like a great way to learn for those just starting out working with leather and practicing hand stitching.

    Very cute. Looked like a nice quality kit. Agree that some sort of picture or written instructions would be good.

    At That price (on their website) I'd expect the products to be assembled! Lol Sticker Shock! 😁

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha, that's funny Karyllyn.
      It does seem quite expensive, but when you take into account that the material is all prepared for you - holes punched, edges painted, fabric cut, hardware provided, and the free postage worldwide, it's actually not that bad a deal.
      Imagine if we decided to make the bag and had to purchase all the fabric and accessories ourselves. I know in Australia, I'd probably have to spend more, and then still have to punch all the holes 😀😅

      @@ChristinesHomeAffairs I know, sewing used to be for poor people! I'm shocked every time I go buy fabric! Thanks for your videos! They're Fabulous! I find myself looking for new ones from you everyday! Glad I found you! 😉

      @@ChristinesHomeAffairs That's really sad, I'm sorry. It appears the niche you've created for yourself is working. I would Love to come see you if I were in your area. A little difficult in these days (I certainly won't go into those reasons 😉) coming from the U.S. Again, I'm so happy I found your channel. 🥰

    Hi Christine, great video as always, that stitch is called a saddle stitch, I only know this because I spend too much time watching youtube videos. If this link works this short video link explains this stitch and an easy way to do it. th-cam.com/video/tiS8sqVvNXk/w-d-xo.html.

      I actually really enjoyed leather work videos on silent. Watching them work is kind of soothing🤪

    If they did an instruction video already why are you redoing it. The leather is nice you say. Thats the review

      Companies such as this, like people to test and review their product as a way to advertise their goods. Reviews can also be good for consumers that are wanting to know if a product is worth purchasing. 😀
