@@folushoadeniyiOn that I agree because the diaspora tax keeps on increasing since Tinubu became the illegitimate president. The tax office (Nigerian civilian populations) keeps collecting more and more money for consumption from the diaspora citizens. Yet they will not protest against Tinubu. Do the diaspora have to cut off extended families and friends who ask for money or pay up for another 7 years? This man must not be allowed to run for office next time. It’s his turn for only 4 years. Nothing more. Hope nature takes its natural course before then so he can kick the bucket intentionally due to a ld age and do us all a favour.

This puerile emotional argument that dividing the country will bequeath bad eggs in the new countries has become a cliche that is given as excuses all the time.
Once a nation is more organic there is harmony to pursue incentives for growth and development. Yugoslavia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Singapore all broke up and they are doing much better. The data does not lie in terms of economic development which has improved.
There is too much conflict of interest in Nigeria and a breakup is what is absolutely necessary so that every one can pursue their path at their own pace and not this open air prison called 'one Nigeria' that Britain created.

The problem here is that we the people do not have the same objectives with the government. The objective of this government as expressed by Tinubu, is to continue with the works of Buhari, further reduce the purchasing power of the people and increase the tax net. Is it that we did not listen to him then? Why are we expecting something else. For me, it is not a surprise. Tinubu at least is delivering what he promised. If we did not want this, we should have chosen an alternative when we had the chance.

The CBN governor should not be telling Nigerians that their actions are improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians. The CBN and the apc government can not set the exam questions in which they are a candidate, mark their own papers, and award themselves high grades. Simply ask the Nigerians public, and they will give you an honest assessment of your performance.

After they steal, they run to federal for protection by becoming a pupet to them. They share the root for protection and if anyone protest, they bring in the army. Again what of economic sabotage metted out on the SE's? Some countries wants to leave EU not bc EU is bad but bc they believe they can do better alone.
What of religious oppression or tolerance? Its not just about politics sir. What about insecurity? The fulani herders are running amoc in Nigeria destroying and killing ppl bc they can't be touched.

It'll take decades to improve against currencies of more productive countries. All we need is for now is to keep it within a range so people can plan..We've been an import dependent economy for over 50 years and the terrific rise in population and the need to house, feed and educate a large and young population is choking us. The exchange rate is unlikely to improve soon.

@onochiechibueze1083 and with the autonomous communities you are referencing? How many of them are killing other community in igboland ? They entire autonomous communities in the igboland are cohabitating and living in peace because they have similarities in culture, which we do not have with the Muslim north.

Men what is working? Isn't it a shame the governor of CBN instead of easing the rate of the currency to stabilize the economy and curb the inflationary affecting the spending power of the citizens rather he makes it more painful. By increasing taxes without no jobs available.

The igr is a campaign gimmick. They are trying to justify the talk of he made Lagos igr very high but at the detriment of taxing lagosians which is what we are currently seeing in Nigeria.
They forget Lagos is the commercial hub of Nigeria so such policies could work but Nigeria isn't even a producing/manufacturing nation reason we all are currently seeing the side effect of same/similar policies

This so-called CBN governor must be living on Mars to shamelessly state that inflation and prices of commodities are stabilising. Tinubu and co have succeeded in rigging themselves to power but lost on what to do with it. Jokers.

There's no way a foreigner will join different people with different ideologies and different value system together in one entity and we expect it to work, mostly it's our people that has decide that we must remain in these unworkable entity while we are always the sacrificial lambs right from day one of the creation. Nigeria is irredeemable not even angels from heaven can fix it. An entity that has never worked for more than hundred years and counting, how will think it will work in future, how do of unborn generation survive in such entity. The meaning of one Nigeria is backwardness and a destiny killer

Ned so even as at this point in time u're still believing in one Nigeria?Na waoo, and ur reason is that it's the same people hence the impunity of stealing public fund and injustice continues unchanged, really?like really?u want to remain as one with hausa fulani who u quite kn have another life and Belief contrary to what other parts of Nigeria have..ok no wahala. And u also don't believe that this very high level of impunity today in governance and the politicians is as a result of one Nigeria with the Northerners? We all kn how tinubu got into power and that he and his gang have nothing good to offer the Nigerian people who couldn't even do any"pim"due to this level of impunity am talking about which is of course as a result of the one Nigeria that Nigerians are forced to maintain,u still don't believe that?ok🤔
