Im so proud of Taika! I’m a water safety instructor and for the class/level for taikas age he’s already met all the requirements and is even ahead! He’s so brave and comfortable in the water! I have kids way older that would cry when they had to grab a toy from the floor even with a lot of guidance and comfort. Your guys effort towards helping him get comfortable in the water is really gonna pay off if you ever decide to put him in swim lessons!
I love how you guys are teaching Taika no fear of the water! A lot of Asian dads I know just push their kids and make them do it like mine did. Thanks for breaking the cycle. If you know of anyone that are still doing it help spread awareness that they could kill their kid. Some children tossed in the pool like that end up swallowing water so when they’re yanked out the pool they may seem fine but later die in their sleep
@bart & geo you can try to get Taika to open his eyes underwater by getting him to blink in the water then work towards counting toys in the water and later playing treasure hunt underwater. Works every time :D
