Hello I am so glad to have found your video. I live in southern NH in USA and in the late winter I usually start seeds for my garden to be planted out in spring. I love buying alstromeria in the store because they’re so beautiful and last so long. Thank you. Where are you located. Yours are beautiful!!!
Thank you for validating what I have learned from my naturalized alstroemerias! Can I send you my pictures?? I’m from central California, and Alstroemerias are my favorite flower.🥰
Aw I’m sorry love. Always transplant Peruvian Lily in the fall/winter (depending on which zone you’re in). They can’t tolerate their roots being shocked in the warmer months (Spring & summer). I’ve made this mistake too so I feel your frustration 💔
Should show where is the seeds located in the plant and show in each diffirent variety how to detect when its best harvested. Go thought it every stage. Thank you.
Hi , i am from India, Does this plant grow in a tropical climate varying from 20°c to 30°Celsius ? Do these plants need chilling time to bloom... Any ideas 💡 🙏
Hi, I bought some cut alstroemerias from my florist 4 weeks ago and after all the flowers are spent, there are 2 pods. Can I leave them until they turn brown and collect the seeds and plant right away? Thank you
I have seen mine bloom the first year but I’ve noticed the flowers improve each year (more full). I have heard that they can bloom the second year so I would say it’s between 1-2 years
From South Africa. Thanks for the video! Beautiful flowers.

Thank you so much!! from Korea

Hi! For every variety the same extraction applies :) thanks for watching
Hi from South Africa, thanks I'm going to try this although my plant is small. Israel is forever!
Hello, that warmed my heart. Thank you ❤️ be well dear
Hi from us, other lilies like Oriental Lily have same way to collect the seeds? thanks
Hi there! Oriental Lily is a bulb so it needs to be taken out from the ground. Bulbs multiply so you can separate them to produce more :)
Will they grow in Memphis, Tn?
Yes. Memphis, Tennessee has a zone of 8a, and Peruvian lillies can grow in zones 7-10. Give them a try ❤️
Thank you for the quick response!. I can't wait to try them!
😍😍😍 thanks for commenting. I love to hear where my viewers are tuning in from
Hello! I got these flowers in a bouquet and I wanted to get the seeds from the but they don’t have any pods! Is there any other way to get the seeds?
Hi! The flowers have to be live, as in they can’t be cut. Once they’re cut they cannot produce seeds 🥺
@@BirdofParadiseIs it possible to take cuttings from them to propagate them? (Thank you for the reply by the way x)
@@xLazy_Freakxx unfortunately no :( but I have a video on my channel on how to propagate them if you want to learn ❤️

Hi there yes, they love that climate. They should still be able to bloom
@@BirdofParadise 👍
Mine don't look like that Uk
Hi! Are you trying to collect seeds now? It’s best you wait until end of summer

Wow. I’m surprised they produced seeds. If they are green definitely don’t touch them yet, let them dry and see how it goes. Best of luck!! :) ☘️
Hello
How can i buy seeds?
Im from Philippines
I will try to link a reliable source
Am I correct in saying that seeds may germinate and grow but not flower until 2-3 years
I have seen mine bloom the first year but I’ve noticed the flowers improve each year (more full). I have heard that they can bloom the second year so I would say it’s between 1-2 years
I adore these Peruvian Lillies but tried to divide some this year, unfortunately 4 out of 6 died, so im worried about dividing now.
What time of year did you divide them?
Hi im from DARJEELING INDIA
Thank you for connecting!! Welcome :) ❤️
