Hi Becca, I realized I missed your Friday Night Live last night. If forgetting about the time because I was busy sewing scrap blocks isn’t a good excuse…. I AM SO SORRY! So I’m watching the replay this morning. My iron just flaked out on me so I will check out your list on your website as I recall you mentioned the name of your cordless before. And I love that you did a “short” recently demonstrating your quilting. I thought I’d love to see her do like a monthly segment on quilting on your machine. I was surprised about the batiks at Suzzie’s. I lived in Manassas for over 20 years and was there when she first opened her shop. Everyone was excited to see her shop. I witnessed her and her husband’s growth there and she is/was a “batik” fanatic. Lots of it available. Is batik still as popular as it once was? I do hear people say because its so tightly woven, it’s harder (not sure that’s the correct word to use) to work with in quilts

Well I've been sick for many days. Needed to start the quilt top for 1_ of my grandsons. I wanted to watch you tonight. Well I watched you alright. Made all the blocks for the quilt top and lo n behold. It was a previous video from 1 or 2 years ago. Too sick to look at date. But my grandson is so happy.
l started making stone washed skirts and bags on an old singer in the 80's. picked quilting up about 10yrs ago but at some point would like to teach young kids how to sew on youtube . They don't teach it in schools here anymore. Really picked it back up seeing all of the beautiful fabric😊
Yes, please follow your dream and pass your skills on to the next generation! I taught sewing for a week at a summer camp one year. The kids loved it! We made string bags and they still use them.
I am not a fan of watching lives live. I don’t have an hour or two to give up. I love your filmed content. I wait for the lives to post later and then fast forward through parts of them!

I visited the quilt Studio in Fairfax in 2018 while I lived in Vienna. I also took their longarm class. It's a very nice store.
