Thank you, fellow PMA-860 owner! I have problems with the left channel intermittently shutting down, with a clicking sound in the amp when it happens, ever since the amp got out of storage after 15 years. Can't be anything else than the relay, I guess, and now I know which parts I need :)

I don't know the PMA-860 Amp. But maybe it has also a relay to switch the speakers on and off. One relay per canal? If the contacts of the relay arn't working propper the signal can't reach the speakers anymore. I replaced the relay. I bridged the contacts of the old relay first before I replaced it.
(do not bridge the relay coil !)
So I checked the problem first.

I misread - you have the 560. Internals and speaker switch look almost exactly the same though (the 860 has 4 of the big capacitors though). The relays seem to work better with higher input levels, it's strange. I'll test some and see what can be done. Thanks :)

Haben Sie mehr info über die verwendeten Relais? It seems my 860 has the same kind. Speaker switch is Off, A, B or A+B and the relays look the same. Where did you order them from? Vielen dank für jede Hilfe :)
