Thanks SBG, being a hobbyist I’m not sure what sponsorship is all about but if it involves receiving money … I’m game. I did approach Cooksongold recently, but they said they don’t send stuff out for customer reviews anymore. dancing with the devil brings in a bit of money by having adverts on my channel. it has potential but as its paying some of the bills at the moment its a great help … N

hi Marta, many suppliers all over the Internet now sell this budget rolling mill. I bought mine from cousinsuk.com prices and the amount of rollers you get vary depending on the supplier, the original deal came with seven interchangeable rollers. it’s a great mill for beginners on a budget who don’t want to stretch to a Durston. i’ve successfully been using it to make wire recently combined with a draw plate to finish … N

Yes, I was excited also after seeing this video. But, after further research, tracking down the same rolling mill; I have serious doubts in the manufacturer. I found that it is a 3" 80mm rolling mill & 5 metal rollers jewelers mill. One review on Amazon gave the good & bad. Unfortunately, the rollers aren't bored in the center of all rollers; therefore it won't roll metals properly that aren't wire. Hope that you do your own research and check reviews before purchasing. Not many people have machine shops to re-bore the centers of any off-center rollers😢

Nick, have you tried non wire metal items. I read that not all of their rollers are centered; thus causing the metal to bind, no matter what the settings are on.

@@smac3662 but for the price, it's frikken awesome for beginners with a small budget. It can be used to make enough money to buy a better one in the future. So I'm getting one. ... eventually 😆

По оптическим ощущениям серебро очень мягкое (скорее всего высокая проба) .я сделал проще, купил токарник jet bd 8vs без электрики, поставил частотник и трехфазный двигатель, сам своял подмоторную плиту, снимает 2 мм 65 стали за проход, в общем теперь делаю себе спецефическую оснастку сам. Тоже есть пару задумок.

I've never thought to make a wire flatter and wider. Did you make your own jig to guide the wire between the rollers? Unfortunately, I have a similar mill, but alas, too many tools and too little talent.😢

Hi Debbie, you can never have too many tools and talent can grow like a good tool collection. I made this guide to help prevent the wire wandering sideways keeping the texture neater and more symmetrical.
