yUm yUm....really like ur style n ur cooking, weneva i make biryani... the yellow color dat i add in the end mixes up wid all rice n so all rice get yellow n very few r left white... i add very little color at the end on top of the biryani in a circle... cud u plz tel me why this happens...thanx

This is a fantastic recipe, I made this and it was excellent, which takes a lot for me to say as I’m quite critical when it comes to food via TH-cam The only thing I must ask is what are the spices that goes into the muslin cloth? I got the obvious ones but wasn’t sure what the leaf and tiny black balls are.

No worries! :) Yea you're right! I remember researching this everywhere, trying to find out what those two were. My female family members and friends had no idea as they'd never used it in their cooking before and they're of Indian/Pakistani origin! And they make great Briyani, so I don't think it's these ingredients that will make the difference (I could be wrong). I really do believe it's all in the technique! I actually came across the two ingredients in a Sri Lankan cooking video! Good luck!
