I am touched after hearing about your experience in the U.S. The world needs folks like you who has a great heart, empathizes humanity, spreading food with love. Rest assured, America misses you too. Don't lose that humor and keep smiling. Your shows are amazingly enjoyable to watch. It pains me to watch biryani cooking at the office and all I can think of is food!!!

Love the incidents alongwith the cooking. It's acts as an ingredient and a unique personal touch. The 911 was one of the saddest events ever. An President Obama the happiest history ever. You stirred in a lot of memories over food. Keep it up. You have charm!

This is a fantastic recipe, I made this and it was excellent, which takes a lot for me to say as I’m quite critical when it comes to food via TH-cam The only thing I must ask is what are the spices that goes into the muslin cloth? I got the obvious ones but wasn’t sure what the leaf and tiny black balls are.

Hi, thank you so much for the video! I've been trying to find a recipe to make authentic briyani but I always struggle to find a good tutorial(it's all in the technique it seems!) This is great !! Could you please tell me what ingredients you used in the 'whole garam masala'? I can see, Bay Leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon sticks, mace, green Cardamom and Star anise.. what are the other two on the left?? Please let me know !!! Thank you :)

Love you man. I am in Northern California and its great to get your perspectives. Its wonderful how you explain in detail everything, each ingredient, what it does etc. Also you are philosophical and go into the depth of each dish, where it originated, etc. like the different between pakki and katchi biryani. I watch your videos as much to learn as to be inspired by your brilliant way of explanation. It makes even the most difficult recipe easy. Thank you. A wonderful teacher and Human being.

No worries! :) Yea you're right! I remember researching this everywhere, trying to find out what those two were. My female family members and friends had no idea as they'd never used it in their cooking before and they're of Indian/Pakistani origin! And they make great Briyani, so I don't think it's these ingredients that will make the difference (I could be wrong). I really do believe it's all in the technique! I actually came across the two ingredients in a Sri Lankan cooking video! Good luck!
