Interesting design. I am assuming this was two different cuts. Did the 2nd cut just cut the outline or offset or did it cut a shallow pocket for the walnut like a inlay? Too bad the video cut off too soon
The Maple was 1/4” thick and the Walnut/Purpleheart was lined up on top off it and just glued to it ( the alignment was simple so I didn’t think about using a pocket to register )
hey there mate... can i just make a artwork in illustrator, and then give it to the cnc workshop? ive exported it in dwg and dxf format.. wanna have a look ? Problem is i like to please clients by making it in 3d as well, its a exhibition backwall design of a fort.
