That would have been a great spot for that meme😂😂😂 Yes the angle was wrong…. It was a case of “now or never” so I let him do it. I wouldn’t do it again.
It deployed the barrel upon ignition and after a speedy decent from its lofty perch, pierced the front of the deer between its neck and shoulder passing high through the lungs. Upon exiting the lungs it skimmed over top of the innards, not damaging them as it made its exit in the opposite flank.
Matthew definitely has a sharp eye . . Micah , can you tell how much time passed by before you found the deer ? .. When you picked it up , there was some semi-stiffness detectable . Is that called "rigor mortis" in animals ? .. What is the time limit on letting a fresh killed deer sit , before it is butchered ? ... and what is it that goes bad inside , if you wait too long ?

It took 5 hours to find it……. It was definitely stiff but not deteriorating. The smell test and color is the best thing to go by!
