While I have no doubt that Saitama would beat Omni Man, I don't think he would consider doing his serious series, He only did one 'serious punch' against Boros and Saitame really wasn't even trying. He was stepped on by a giant man, and punched to the moon and he still only used his barest fraction of strength in those fights. This wouldn't even be close to something Saitama would be serious about
100% agreed. I was thinking "A Serious Punch to break up a city block? Come on, the guy destroyed an asteroid the size of Texas without resorting to that!"
But speaking of the whole moon thing, I think I'd like to see a tussle between Caped Baldy and either The Red Basher or Captain Maximum from Scott McCloud's "DESTROY!!!." After all, it was the Red Basher's Big Bang Punch that slammed the Captain from Manhattan to the moon, finally causing him to lose his temper - he then threw all the force of his return jump into a two-fisted punch right square to the top of the Basher's noggin (even though he had now come to his senses and asked the police chief to slap the cuffs on him), finally knocking the hero-turned-miscreant unconscious . . . and as a side effect, blasting every single building in Manhattan into rubble (and breaking windows in Jersey). At least nobody was hurt. Saitama would probably win, but I want to know if there would be more damage done.

@@vikasvanga7866 I don't think anyone is claiming that. I, for one, am saying that his Normal Punch would be more than equal to any task we see in this video. MAYBE Consecutive Normal Punches. But to break up a rock the size of a city block? DEFINITELY within the capability of just a Normal Punch to deal with. As scorch points out, he has barely ever even used the Serious Punch.

I have a headcanon about Saitama's powers. He didn't surpass his limits or exceed his limit breaker. He actually has psionic powers that allow him to manipulate reality and in his simple minded drive to become a strong hero, he broke reality in proximity to his physical presence so now he's automatically the most powerful hero in the room as it were and he's too simple minded to acknowledge the source of his powers nor how to turn it off or fine tune it. It's just a headcanon though.

I could see it being revealed that he actually built up his esper power but it appears as simply being enhanced strength, endurance, and speed due to his mindset. It fits well with him being able to ignore psyker abilities and being so powerful that he is unreadable. The abilities to break into a psychic field or easily understand so many ppl makes more sense too.
Respec to to this dude for nerfing Saitama so that Omni-man could have a little bit of chance of defeating him. Either way he only highen Omni-man's chance by just a 0.01%

La diferencia es significativa, Saitama nunca fue golpeado de veras, o sea nunca lo han derribado o hecho caer.
En cambio Omniman si ha sufrido breves derrotas, a sangrado profusamente (y ha tenido que pasar algun tiempo para recuperarse, mismo tiempo en que podia ser eliminado), ha caido mas de una vez, ademas de sus poderes Omniman tiene la misma ventaja de Vegeta: la experiencia en combate.
Saitama no tiene esa experiencia, pero lo compensa con su fuerza casi ilimitada.
Lo que haría pensar, ¿ qué ventaja dá la experiencia en combate cuando del otro lado se tiene un poder o fuerza inconmensurable e irresistible ?
Personalmente estoy de acuerdo, Saitma debería ganar, su psique en pelea es mas estable, no grita, no llora, no tiene miedo, lo toma casi superficialmente todo (en pleno combate se preocupa mas por el supermercado que por el rival), o lo que es lo mismo al dominar la situación puede ver mas claro; en cambio sus posibles rivales se estremecen, odian, gritan, se enojan, se rien, tienen miedo, etc, etc. o sea estan por perder la cordura.

Wait…can Omni-Man even lift that chunk of the city? Superman does stuff like that because he has a form of tactile telekinesis, when he touches items he also holds it together with his bio-electric field. It’s why he can pick up a building in the comics, by the corner, and it doesn’t fall apart. This is also why Homelander from the Boys can’t save the airplane when it was falling, because he would simply push through it like a ballistics missile thanks to the material used for the fuselage. Omni-man always seemed more like the second than the first.

I've never really followed Omni-man, as he seems like a conscienceless mass murder, but the artwork (and the attitude) have always (well, ever since I watched AoS, anyway) reminded me of Glenn Talbot, from Agents of Shield. Especially near the end of the time loop arc, Talbot radiated the whole 'if I say or do it, it's the *right* *thing* and anyone that says otherwise must die' that Omni seems to have.
You should really really really watch the show. There is much more depth to Omniman. The story is quite amazing.

There are definitely similarities between the two, only difference is that Talbot obtained powers and it corrupted him. Omni-man was born with powers and had a supremacist complex.
Read the invincible comics, there's way more depth to Omniman
