  • The Ama-Sati Heritage Club of Opobo Kingdom has a rich history rooted in passion, cultural preservation, and artistic excellence. The club was founded in 2011 by Warisenibo Abinye Morgan Ogolo, who was inspired by Abara Wilson Jumbo's love for the arts. The founder duly met Amasenibo Wilson Jumbo in his house at Bonny street in Port Harcourt October 2011 with drinks to chat a way for the club opening according to cultural demands. During a performance at the Rivers State Carnival in 17th December 2011, the Ama-Sati Heritage Club made its official debut, representing the Opobo/Nkoro Contingents and leaving a lasting impact on the cultural landscape.
Warisenibo Abinye Morgan Ogolo sought support from cultural talented individuals, including Allen Biedima E. Brown and Dagogo Wilson Jumbo being the son of Wilson Jumbo and a friend of his, including the assistance of his trusted companion, laté Warisenibo Idawari Wariso, and Mr John John Jaja, who informed majority of initial dancers to participate, then a talented group of young men and ladies were assembled to form the club. Rehearsals began, and the Ama-Sati Heritage Club embarked on a transformative journey.
The name "Ama-Sati" was divinely inspired, reflecting the club's purpose as a dance club for youths and a platform for teaching the Ibani language and celebrating God through dance and Ibani songs. Their motto, "Tii PA AKI TAMUNO BOMA,"
Since its inception, the Ama-Sati Heritage Club has thrived, captivating audiences with their performances, preserving Opobo Ibani Kingdom's cultural heritage, and inspiring future generations to embrace their roots and express their artistic talents.
