That small detail just intrigues me how after those games, every game followed that look

I noticed that lighting is a huge factor in modern day shooters. The vibrant colors and lighting add to the effect. Also, Battlefield 3 really took it to a whole new level. That game still holds up today.

It would have been cool if you showed footage captured at their native resolution and framerate. All of the older games were enhanced, I know they definitely weren't that sharp or smooth playing on their original hardware. It would have better demonstrated the evolution.
Yeah. Even when doom 3 came out I had to run it at 800x600 res before upgrading. Quake probably even lower res and a very low framerate in comparison to today. And don't get me started with goldeneye.. outright unplayable if you have the original on n64.

(not all) Of the developers just care about money not the game take bfV for example its dead because of that I just hope developers would care about the games that they are making like the old days :)

Doom 2016 is a fat flaming middle finger to the new modern shooters out there who think boomer shooters are dead. New indie developers and other studios are now making games that are similar to the classic 90s shooters and pay some tribute to it. I'm not saying any of the genres are bad, I'm saying that we cant have the same bullshit over and over again. It's nice to see other genres of fps like battle royales, boomer shooters, sci fi shooters, and the tactical shooters, etc out there thrive together in the fps genre.
