good, matter of direction of so called slip, when my body is not able to catch up with my feet, i will slip AND when my feet are not able to catch up with speed of my body i will skid. in case of rolling, if vcm is < rw it is slipping, when rw< vcm it is skidding. i think.
sir, what is the relation between distance moved by centre and circumference of circle from which we can find whether backward slip or forward slip also direction of friction? And another doubt is initially when we approach a problem we cannot find the direction of motion of point P then we should only assume the direction friction and solve the problem using equation of motion or is there any other trick to find friction direction by seeing the problem?
for forward rolling and backward slipping case Vp was negative right. so sir, why have you plotted Vp on the positive side of the y-axis ? one more question : if Vp is plotted on negative side of y-axis and since it will increase because of acceleration due to friction, will there be a point when it momentarily becomes zero (i.e. crosses x axis) (with all due respect)
Wahidul Islam good. Actually negative mention was in terms of its magnitude with respect to write, on the y axis only magnitudes are plotted not the direction.
Wow such an explaination🎉
Finally understood this! Thank you very much.
Brilliant!, thanks a lot sir
Finally I found it after searching 23 times
But avoid you tube, at times of t can be a time waster.
Beautifully explained ...Thanks so much sir
wanted it very much, thank you sir .
Thx sir . I was very worried about this concept.
Pls answer. What if we take the rotational motion anti clockwise and the object is moving to the left????
The graphs shown are just representative to explain the exchange of energy between rotational and translational motion.
What a great explanation
Sir,
How the Vcm and angular velocity will increase linearly with time?( According to graph )
Correct. This is just representative to explain the exchange of energy between rotational and translational motion. Energy graphs will not be linear.
@@ykmt96 Thank you sir.
Can it be Vc forward and w acw?
Sir please don't delete this video and can you add one similar questions which was there and you deleted that from hcv
Sir what is difference between slipping and skidding.

Y Kumar thank you sir
Y Kumar ,forward slip means skidding nd backward slip means slipping

oh
okay sir thanks a lot
