Man Lonewolf custom stands are super nice. You are killing my wallet with the gear reviews 😁. Season hasn't started and I've bought a new climber, lock on, sticks, bow, built new arrows, lol. Hunting, fishing, reloading, and collecting guns are my bad habits, guess it could be worse. Thanks for the in depth reviews and good luck this up coming season.
They are super nice, I took my .75 to work and showed some of the engineers it and they were blown away by the quality and machine work, they couldn't believe I put it in a tree and hunted with it lol, we are truly blessed in this mobile hunting renaissance were experiencing right now. Best of luck to you this deer season too!!
It's really hard to beat the LWCG system. Their stuff is expensive, but it all just works together so well! I love my 1.0 and 17" compact sticks w/ aiders. Ready for deer season!
I've been running a lone wolf alpha with 4 sticks and stick quiver for 3 years. This is a MUCH needed upgrade for me. I find it hard to run a backpack, not only does the stick quiver get in the way but also puts that weight out further out. I usually put everything I need in my pockets and just haul the stand and sticks on my back. I think you've helped me make my mind up, hesitant too spend over a grand on a full setup but I'm going to be using this next season. Thanks man. Great videos.
I have the 1.0 and honestly I wouldn't want it any smaller. All these tiny stands to make as light and compact as possible reminds of the evolution of cell phones when they got so small you couldn't hold them to your ear lol.
I think it’s nice to have options, as a smaller guy I don’t need a big stand to hunt. After hunting out of my assault 2 for years it’s time to get something smaller and lighter

Great stand, I still love the old loc-on's better. I hear there's a guy still making them, on request, one of the guys that makes saddle platforms. Loc-on was the lightest hang on out there, i still use mine. I'm a Slovak, lol.

Mark Cama at Treehopper has new old stock Windwalkers and they're making the pack for it as well. They're not listed on his site but you can contact him and he can get one for you. I got a Windwalker a few months back and recently got the pack. He's supposedly making some type of bracket so that you can level the Windwalker.
That stand is going to be my all day sits in the hardwoods. The .5 is my long walks or swamp trees. Like the tree u lean on in the morning and it falls down.

Great review. At time 13:25 in your video shows your mini climbing sticks. Those look like the new design with the small hook tab below the top step bolt and also the machined/integrated versa button. I just got some new LWCG mini sticks but they are the older style. Is that integrated hook/tab a nice feature such that you could effectively the stick on your belt, pocket, or rope to hang it while climbing and setting up? Regarding the integrated versa button, does the buckleless method work effectively with that button? Thanks.
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors Sounds good. Thanks. My new .75 stand has the new integrated versa button and I tried the buckleless method on that and it worked really well. Thus, I ordered some new compact sticks with integrated versa button and the integrated stick hanger.

How comfortable is it to sit on the seat face towards the tree? Thoughts on this is that you can peak out either on the right or left side of the tree so you don't get easily picked in the stand verses placing the stand outwards.
Would you say this is your favorite hang on in the market right now? Also, do you have a preferred set of sticks that will take you up 15 - 20 ft? Used Novix / old Lone Wolf hang ons and only lone wolf 30’’ stix up to this point. Thinking LWCG / XOP for another stand and unsure on the sticks, maybe skeletor?
