Thank you so much for this.. God knows how many hours must have gone into creating such amazing visualizations.. Also very very true, set selection is EVERYTHING in Dilr.. In CAT 2020 I didn't even read a set post the first two lines and it was so so easy, literally all the Data given for a 4 set vein diagram.. I remember while solving this set as a mock I solved this set at last, drew the entire airplane seat matrix on my copy(if only I had this sense while solving the actual exam) :)

Thank you so much ma'am for so many useful insights and such a well made video. Since this is a cat question there must be many videos solving it but no one can come close to the way you visualized and decoded it.. Such visualization shows how much clarity of thought and coherence you have in general.. The beauty of dilr is everyone will have a different approach to a set, even when the same person solves the set again after a while the approach may change.. when I solved this set the 4600 thing didn't even cross my mind.. I'll surely look for such clues in future.. usually what I do for such various possibilities sets is pick a reasonable one out and try solving with it. If it works out good otherwise shift to a different possibility. Since if the possibility works out or not gets ascertained within 2 clues usually this method worked fine but from now on would surely try the read in between the (clue) lines!

Because for me, It is consuming lot of papers and creating confusion. Data is huge and when the page size is small and you have only 1 type of pen in exam, how can you plot the complete data. Thank you 😊 Ideally, you should attempt basis difficulty level of the paper. An easy set takes 4-5 mins, a difficult one 8-12 if at all it ends up getting solved.
Basics mean covering the concepts of all the topics that are a part of the CAT syllabus. Some topics may require more practice than others basis your current level of prep.

That depends on the time you have left - like I shared in the video: if someone needs to spend 10-12 hours a day just to finish basics by Aug, then there's a need to reduce time spent per question, in which case you'd use method 1. If you have enough time, you should prefer method 2.

There's only one thing to do - practice more. For each section, you can find a video in the CAT prep playlist. Refer to that, see where you may be making mistakes. Rather than solving a lot of questions, solve a few but analyze them well.

That's right - you can't decide the difficulty of a set basis its type, you must read the statements quickly to gauge if you can make sense of it
