Finally, I've found someone explain this reasoning like a crystal clear for me, i understand your explanatios more than someone explaining in my own language. TY Sir

Thank you for sharing. I remember last year I tried to apply to one of the companies in Manila I encountered this kind of exam but I ended up with "manghula" 😅😅😅 on that whole part of the exam because I didn't know how to answer it.
you gotta conclude and deduce from the diagram if they intersect(in case of some) or overlap (in case of all) then you can say the statement is in concord
It's the same for ig most of us but you gotta conclude and deduce from the diagram if they intersect(in case of some) or overlap (in case of all) then you can say the statement is in concord
I understand that if they intersect then the conclusion is true. For example, Jugs are Cats. this is true cuz they intersect. But my question is: If both Parrots and Birds are part of Cats, how come the conclusion Jugs are Birds is not correct? Simply because they don't intersect? Please clarify this for me 😊
Yes, they don't intersect. You must only focus by encircling Jugs because it just said some Jugs are part of cats, it means bird is not included. Hope it helps po.
Only ' *some* Jugs are Cats' necessarily follows. 'Jugs are Cats' only *could be* the case I suppose you meant 'some Jugs are Birds'. And that's not necessarily false, but it doesn't necessarily follow, because the relation between Jugs and Birds or Parrots wasn't specified. It could be that 'some Parrots are Jugs' or even that 'all Birds are Jugs', but that wouldn't have to necessarily be the case Basically.. you have to consider if the conclusions only *could be* the case or if they *necessarily follow*
Clarify lng po sir All parrots are birds all birds are cats tama po ito pero mali pa yata yung some cats are parrots and some birds are parrots. Pwede pa cguro kung All po lahat yan. E po dapat answer nyan eh basi sa statement All po sya pasok sya sa circle lahat dapat All din ang vice versa nyan hindi sya pwede some sir. Clarify lng po
Statement #2 Diba dapat po "All parrots are bird" kasi nakapasok lahat ng parrots sa Bird. Bat naging tama yung "Some birds are parrot"? Please reply sir Nomoo? Curios lang po ako Correct Answer is letter E: none of these
Helpful, but problematic if one must work this out on the spot during a debate, especially without pen and paper. Not being math-gifted, its difficult to think these out on a momentary basis.
@nomostud I hope you didn't take my wording of "problematic" to relate in any way to your video or instruction. In fact, I found your instruction here to be extremely helpful, and your diagramming could not have been conveyed more clearly. Reading Aristotle's text, especially without marginalia, is very dense and overwhelming at times to keep on track. Thanks again for the upload!
I don't really understand these type of problems in practical... Cause, if cats circle have birds and parrots.. Then if some of cats are jugs... Why some of birds and parrots can't be jugs??? 🤔
The diagrams are EULER DIAGRAMS --not VENN DIAGRAMS. Venn Diagrams came into existence AFTER Euler had a method. Euler uses circles inside other circles. Venn diagrams never have other circles inside another, but has three overlapping circles at all times. There is only one diagram with three terms no matter what figure with Venn diagrams. Euler digrams depend on the premises and you must draw a according to information given. Venn diagrams are always the same three overlapping circles and ONE WAY to draw them. One way of drawing the diagram makes it better.
Yes, I know their differences, but take note, All Venn diagrams are Euler diagrams, but not all Euler diagrams are Venn diagrams. Euler diagrams only have the intersection combinations that actually exist in the real world. While Venn diagrams represent every hypothetically possible logical relationship between categories.

This has explained syllogisms in a way I can fully understand! thank you so much.
thanks Boss ang galing .walang akong idea about sa ganito.dahil sa simple explanation u naka gets ko agad more power sa youtube channel u boss.
Thank you!! I am now confident that i can passed the Analytical Ability in CSE
Oh tysm Sir
I'm from Pakistan
And literally now I am able to solve some logical reasoning after watching your video
U r great ❤
By far, an exceptional video on how to crack 'Syllogism'.. .great work Nomostud
Glad you liked it!
Sobrang helpful ito talaga rason bat ako nakapasa sa csc gnamit ko lahat ng natutunan ko thank you thank you so so mucj
Tysmmm sir I have not understand it but now I can say that it's very easy thanks your method of teaching is best
Thank you for this wonderful and clear explanation!
I am gonna hit my medical test tomorrow and this is the part of my exam. Tysm for fading away my doubts
Am from Ethiopia, Africa.and I don't have a word to thank.
You're the best in explaining
Ang galing mo sir.. Natuto ako agad.. Naitama ko Q:2&3. Hehe.. Salamat ng marami po. 😅🙏
I really have a hard time intindihin eto sa mga exam. Ngayun ko lng nakita itong video at na intidihan ko po yung explanation nyu. Thank you po.

Wonderful and simple explanation, thanks a lot
In the last example some leaves are ducks right ???
I'm here after my end sem ARP LR exams , 5 questions of 1 marks came like this and i only watched ur video yesterday
Thankyou
Your channel really helped in my fast paced cram/ review for UPLAE, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
thank you so much po very well explained ❤ pag nakapasa po ako this coming aug exam sagot ko na 5 people na magtatake ng exam next year ❤ 🙏
Wow sana isa ako sa makakafree. Sana pumasa po kayo
Nice explanation
For the 2nd question, shouldnt the jugs overlap with birds and parrot as well?
Thank you so much. Very informative video.
Good teacher! thumbs up!
👍 Thanks so much for this! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awesome teaching!
does this work for CAT too?
Thank you so much ❤❤❤
hey is syllogism applies only if we are looking for conclusion? how about assumptions?
Very informative. Thanks
I disagree with your diagram in the second set of statements. All conclusions do follow. Edit: nevermind
Same. for me Letter C. Only 1 and 2 is the better answer on statement 2
Tama naman po e
Tama naman po e, sobrang layo naman ng pwesto ng plates sa cats at sa bird
It's the same for ig most of us but you gotta conclude and deduce from the diagram if they intersect(in case of some) or overlap (in case of all) then you can say the statement is in concord
THANK YOU SO MUCH SA KLARONG EXPLANATION.
Thank you so much sir!
But there is always a possibilty that some jugs may overlap both parrots , and /or birds in Question 2.
So can plates.
Thanks sir❤
Thanks po for the technique❤

@@Ester_Krupova what's the difference between could be the case and just follow
It should be some jugs are birds, but not all
i think in statement 2. letter C. Only I and II is the most better answer.
Thank you very useful
Thank you. I'm New follower.
Welcome!
Thanks for this, really helpful
Amazing tutorial
it's so helpful thanks sir
Thank you and more practice exam on this
It's a huge help.
Thank u So much❤
this is really helpful. thank you so much i can finally understand it now!

can you explain the explicit and implicit ?
this is not a statement and assumption, this is syllogism... Anyway, I'll upload statement and assumption-related problems soon. Stay cool.

Good! unfortunately you didn't touch enough upon negative premises and conditionals. But maybe it's in a another of your vids, need to check
Statement #2
Diba dapat po "All parrots are bird" kasi nakapasok lahat ng parrots sa Bird. Bat naging tama yung "Some birds are parrot"?
Please reply sir Nomoo? Curios lang po ako
Correct Answer is letter E: none of these
very helpfull
A big thank you
Sir, nalilito Ako sa some cats are parrots Hindi naman po sila nag overlap. 😊
