Mature trees that once lined Armada Way down towards the Hoe were ruthlessly chopped down under the cover of darkness by the council one night. Gone forever. Buildings slowly getting knocked down & redesigned. The university, once a Polytechnic, is sloŵly eating up buildings & wasteland & constantly expanding due to extortionate tuition fees. Subways that once seperated the pedestrians from the traffic have been filled in & now traffic gets halted as pedestrians now cross that same road that they once walked under.
