I really love rally cars. I'd love to drive off-road. I'd love for manufacturers to release 1/7 scale as well.😀😀
@REPLAYRC I'd like to see that too
Had a 1/10 carisma Audi quattro years ago ,looked good but they've come along way now.🙏🤠
@ianmangham4570 I remember that car, it was a looker!
You are going to have some fun doing the comparisons on these cars. Looking forward to seeing the results.
@fogcityrc4874 Oh yeah! I got the driving in the books. Now to film the end.
Looking forward to what you have to say about it. Carisma is readily available in europe so no issues getting parts. Now the quality has to be decent and the car somewhat durable to be a decent seller in europe.
@AsurasWrath164 I don't want to give away too many details but it surprised me in the driving comparison.
I like this one too 🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣🤣
@Inkrediblekicks It's hard to say no😆
@@ReadySetRC lmao it is
Nice going through. Will be interesting to hear your verdict and comparison to the other 1/8 rally cars 👍
@electricnitrorc Thanks for checking out the video. Comparison video coming really soon.
I have one of these and the motor is actually only 2500kv but just by swapping the motor to 5400kv with stock esc it absolutely rips and does about 40-50 mph range plenty to shred tyres with a 2s lipo
@TeamRCSmedley Thank you, because I could not find that info anywhere. I will say I like the speed after swapping the ESC. Feels scale.
@@ReadySetRC I completely agree that the speed it does out of the box is on the slow and boring side and definitely needs an upgrade however I think that the stock esc is great and even though they say you cant run 3s on it you actually can but I dont the speed it has with the 5400kv is perfect on 2s any more speed and it would become undrivable
And even though it can take 3s i have no idea how long it would last because it wasn’t designed for it
@@TeamSmedleyRC You know with the ESC swap, it took it very well. No cut outs or thermals on the motor. If you haven't already there is a shoot out series I have with this, the CEN and HPI. All on 3s.
Sweet rig! Great review, as always. Just wish it had a better ESC Motor Combo from the factory.
@850RC That and the limited upgrade parts.
I was leaning towards picking one of these up until I noticed the Phillips hardware. Come on, Carisma, it's almost 2024.
@TheRCBuildersPost I'm a stickler for hex hardware too but I will say if you use the right drivers you should have no issues.
Only issue looks like is it seems alot lower than the hpi flux
@chrisaustin6392 No issue but it lower.
would i spend my money on it , and my answer is no . There are better RC tarmac rally cars that are you can spend your money on .
@ianjohnhorwood2605 No so fast, the comparison will surprise you.
