If you believe that God made everything you believe that God made science which shows that everything that God does in the Bible is bad therefore, if God exists ,God is knowingly, evil and abusive. The wedding thing is a funny difference between mormons and catholics. To get married in a catholic church one or both of you has to be a catholic, and both be "eligible to marry" (they have rules about divorce/annulment), but any one can attend. To get married in the mormon temple simply being mormon is not enough. You have to be a "worthy" mormon (which includes keeping current on donating 10% of your income) ... and no one can attend unless they are also mormon AND "worthy" as well. It's like a church inside a church. So catholics won't do your wedding if you are not catholic enough (but they won't tell you who can and can't come), and mormons won't let mormons below a certain level of activity get married ... or even watch a wedding. The LDS church is the only church who actively separates families after they die. No other Christian denomination believes (to my knowledge) that you won’t automatically be with them if you accept God.

Problem with your statement is: You assume that these came from a god. These are all human-made rules and constructs, and there isn't any credible evidence that they came from anyone other than humans.
