You're the only one that can get me pumped about chess like I'm about to watch a MMA death match. So intense.

The problem is, Nelson makes it look so easy and so logical and I think, "Oh, I can do that". and then I jump in and get nailed! lol

I’ve gained nearly 400 ELO just on your content alone. I wish I had the money right now, but between a newborn and my dad passing I just can’t make it work.. hopefully you’ll open it back up or sell at a lowered price without the benefit of being in discussion groups etc. Love your channel and strategy so much.
From 500s to closing in on 900. Also #1 in Legend league. Feels so good on top of all the heartache and stress from this month.

That second last game. Blundering your rook AND bishop in one move at the 2000 level. Watching these videos makes me feel better about my own blunders. We're all human.

Love you Nelson, mostly coz you're a Christian, but you do what you admonish against, you play a lot of hope chess in these runs. Take this from a man probably 35 years older than you that wants to see you succeed.

I think your winning percentage is higher when you don’t try to sac pieces and just play solidly. You play your best games against cheaters

2:03:27 then is the time to bring in the other knight to d2. Cause black might attack with their knight, after moving pawns in the center. On this opening - like in the coli system - the dark bishop is developed later on.

I'd love to join "Break 1500", but sorry I am not spending 197$ for a chess course. I have like 220€ atm and I have more necessary things to buy:D
Didn't realize it's that interactive, but still currently I can't afford it, but seems like it could be worth the money thought if I had the funds to pay it and live. Though I can go just to my city's/town's (Population here is 38k, but it's only 30km from our country's capital and biggest city, so it's still in the capital area) library on a Wednesday at 17:00 (5pm) to 20:00 (8pm), where there's an irl chess club, which is free, so I think that will be better for my current situation:D

I don't get why trade the queen. I thought horse was going to go there to fork the towers.

White takes rook with knight …. Black takes knight with bishop or rook…. White takes with queen…. Black takes queen with bishop or rook….
Black would come out better in that position if he played the knight fork

2:43:06 if you go nd5 to fork the b pawn, why is that not at least a draw?

Watched about 6 games this man played and he lost all of them, to lower rated opponents. No one can win em all, I understand that, but I am not so confident in buying his course.

You need to understandstand that he is dictating almost every move which kills his crucial time which he could have played within seconds and focussing on comments and other stuffs also. He is doing many things at the same time which also diverts his mind. So he is already atleast minus 1 point down before the start of the game . And his opponents are completely focussed on their game so it will always be hard for him to win comparatively.

Personally I learn as much from the losses as the wins due to Nelson's approach to explaining in the analysis. Also the course is breaking 1500 not 2300, it's helping a specific type of player see progression in their personal game. Coming from a 1000 elo casual player.
