I’m surprised that the NFL hasn’t tried to move into Canada, Mexico, and/or Puerto Rico as they’re geographically closer and would seem the easier investment at least if the NFL is trying to go international imo

Tottenham Hotspur FC's home stadium was built with soccer and the NFL in mind. There are two separate playing surfaces, one for soccer and the other for American Football. The stadium also has home and away locker rooms for soccer and two other home and away locker rooms for the NFL teams

Thank you! NFL fans always conveniently forget to say that! They also forget to mention how the teams don't pay taxes, how the owners build stadiums and practice headquarters with handouts from the governments.. Also they forget to say that European soccer teams have to pay half of their income in taxes alone as well as build their own stadiums.

The NFL tried it before, and it flopped. "NFL Europe" lasted 13 seasons and lost millions of dollars.
Europeans enjoy soccer, not football. Stop trying to force them into liking it.

Playing internationally across continents has been tried before Super Rugby in the southern hemisphere expanded to teams in South America, Africa , Oceania and Asia . It never really worked , timezone issues , road trips , lack of traditional rivalry games all sorts
What you’re missing about putting a team in London is they would have to be competitive straight away and win otherwise interest would fade away once the initial buzz and interest has levelled off . Going 1-16 for a few seasons and watch that attendance drop off
The other major issue is that most NFL fans in the UK have ‘their’ teams already and so they aren’t just going to pivot to the London Team just like that ain’t gonna happen
Now to help with that you are going to need local boys playing in that team and that is a problem. Now there could be a few Rugby guys who might be able to transition but not many
So I agree about the NFL continuing these game 17 internationally like soccer does but you call it an advantage that the NFL plays real games rather than soccer that goes on preseason tours . Actually it’s the other way round Liverpool can play a preseason game in Melbourne Australia and 95000 show up
An NFL preseason game won’t draw close to that as its not a great spectacle and is disruptive so the NFL has to use regular season games to do the same
    That’s a weakness not a strength
A home game is the most precious thing a team has in any sport and it should be sacred and never given up for anything

Most, if not all NFL fans living in the UK have been fans of their favourite teams since the 1980s, I don't think they'll give the sustained support to a new team or one that is placed there that they have given to the team they've been a fan of for a fair number of years. Many fans travel to the US to support the team they follow and have built up a raport with. They probably would only have at most a passing interest in a team implanted in the UK.

Have the every team play 1 game over in London every year.... 16 Games per Year in London... They can see if there's enough revenue to support atleast 1 Team in London... it fixes the odd number home/away game in the states...

A team here wouldn’t work because there’s no real desire for it. Sure there’s excitement because it’s a one off or 2 games a year, but there wouldn’t be a loyal following every other week generating 60-80k fans. And there’d be zero local talent breaking through. Brittany just don’t play NFL, we play football, rugby and cricket etc, and NFL will not breakthrough. It’s even on the decline in America.

There is another reason why i dont think this will work, you mentioj London a lot in the video, and while i understand why you would gravitate to there, the UK has like 70 million people and most dont live in london, given the internal UK relationship London has with the rest of the country, making this a London exclusive thing will turn a lot of people outsode of the South East off, and this leads into a 2nd issue, sporting culture in the UK, its very tribal and regional.....there is no way in hell a group of people from say liverpool will support any team based in London, and to that, ypu may get some traction in say london, manchester ect large cities with a transient international population, but thats about it.....NFL Baseball ect is something we can access here in the UK, but in all honesty very few people care outside of big population centres. Most people outised of say manchester or London, in the towns that orbit those places have stronger connections to their local rugby team. I dont know but for the outlay it would need to be set up and what you would get in return, i dont think it would not be worth it,

I have a hybrid solution 4 divisions of 5, top 2 of each division advance. The east divisions will be 3/5ths European teams and some geographic realignments
So it would go as follows
AFC West ) chiefs, chargers, Texans, broncos, raiders
AFC north) browns, Steelers, Bengals, ravens, bills
AFC South) colts, dolphins, titans, Mexican expansion team, us southern expansion team
AFC East) jets, Patriots, London jags, 2 additional European expansions
NFC West) cowboys, niners, rams, Seahawks, cardinals
NFC North) lions, Packers, bears, Vikings, eagles
NFC South) falcons, Panthers, saints, bucs, st.louis expansion
NFC East) giants, commanders, 3 European expansions

Do the Americans even consider if there is even demand for that sport in europe? Because I see wrong american analisis over and over again for at least 25 years since i have internet for why their favorite sport "is not that big" in europe, and than being "surprised" that another expansion attempt failed again. Maybe first ask yourself why would Euros buy your national schmuck to begin with. Americans clearly have other taste than europeans, if they didn't "soccer" would already be a mainstream in US. The same works the other way.

european league of football is probably going to be a developmental league. much like the nsfl. but ELF is more of a summer league. it would be really nice to watch the ELF grow into a professional football league that rivals the NFL and if that league grows to become just as powerful as the NFL, then the NFL ELF merger might happen one day. much like the NFL AFL merger.
