Hi Gang...Sorry this video looks potato but with only 1 weeks notice and losing nearly all my game footage awhile back I thought best to just crank this out rather than take 2 days making it look nice. Also, I'm not trying to argue with the Maxroll tier list - those guys know about 10x more than me about this game, but I thought it was worth highlighting some of the recorded PTR clears that might impact things. At the end of the day, you can use that Tier list and my PTR records to make your own decision as to what to play and I will do so form of update one the season is a week or two old. If anyone really disagrees or has something of value, please do put it in the comments. With the lack of content creators covering the game, the community is going to have to pull together to give each other the help needed to have the best experience in the game. I'll try my best, but I'm not a good push player and I often make mistakes as this isn't my full time jam. Good luck in Season 30 - Filthy
@@bboy458 I'm not sure buddy, Maxroll have some of my D Tier as A Tier so there could be hope yet. It might be 150 across the board for every leaderboard
Thank you for all your recent D3 content,. I always enjoy watching it. And what do you think about Maxrolls solo XP tierlist? Seems to be very weird for me, especially AoV FotH B-tier.
This is going to be a crazy season. I'm tempted to play innas because of how much fun I had speed farming in prior strong seasons (both ethereals and soul shards), but I have a feeling that I'll just default to my classics... crusader and barb. I will probably farm with fist of heavens, push with that, condemn, invoker and maybe sweep. I don't love raekor or hoppy barb but will probably do mix of WW, HOTA and Savages. So many builds! When you're trying to push that many you do really use all of your inventory space. Somewhere on the third class I run into stash space issues 😅
I am bemused that WD was nerfed, Also, WD is an abbreviation for Western Digital, which is one of many companies that Filthy should look at for a decent backup drive solution.
Frenzy Barb with the Savage set has always been a fav, that and Typhon Hydra Sorc. Nice to see they will cruise into the sunset in a good spot! Almost no chance I will play this season but still good to see.
Filthy, thank you for continuing to support Diablo 3. I play D2 and D4 but I enjoy completing Achievements in D3. I have 2 D3 accounts and play on three servers, NA, EU and Asia. 2 accounts help me gear up faster, Plus assists in Hardcore leveling. It doesn't help with Season Solo. Anyway, for season 29, I completed Guardian 12 times. I tell myself I should concentrate on one server but Asia starts so much sooner than NA, I can't help myself.... I enjoyed season 29 and look forward to season 30. Thanks again for the D3 tips and guidance,
I was thinking of going crusader this season, since I have not played it in years and always thought the start was clunky with it, but with the altar and soul shards...its so fast.
Way more excited for D3 S30 than D4 S3! May be coming back to the roots - a barb for the last season! May also try crusader again, have not been playing him for years.
As always, thanks for all you do. Again with wiz meteor and necro nova at top. Thought they did a balance. Can’t do them another season so maybe Pom monk or barb bolder toss. Looking for fun.
As far as balancing the highest tier builds feel like surprised they didn't give some kind of nerf to LoD WoL. Without a paragon cap especially its crazy strong. If I remember correctly we were seeing really fast solo 150 clears with it with shards alone.... maybe im remembering wrong though...
They actually did, they took the damage mod off the Kyrishiro's blade although it wasn't highlighted in the patch notes that it was gone. It's still going to be super strong though
Rathma did it in 3 minutes with 2500 paragon? Only way that is happening is if the player has 100% perfect gear, max augments, very high level leg. gems, and gets an Oreks Dream rift.
S29 cap should be gone for S30. There will be the altar returning as a permanent fixture in season for d3 moving forward, same with the portals that can spawn while doing bounties. For S30 the main season theme will be the soul shard system returning. S31 will have the altar and portals, but will have the soul shard system rotated for another well liked seasonal feature previously debuted (ex - ethereal items, etc).
I really wanna play Corps lance necromancer this last season do you think its a ok to play that build for GR pushes with my friends? or is that a bad idea to use that build
Everything will be strong this season, and for speeds it can be a nice option. But for pushing, it's probably still a bit weak. It's all about having fun and you can always change build later at no penalty
i guess i will give it a shot and hope for the best should be able push little further than expected by trying hard if it didn't work we always have D2R to go back to :) @@FilthyCasual96
sorry to hear about the HDD crash man... *raises a beer in tribute* let me ask ya something that may at first sound silly... god set but with a Leonine Bow of Hashir and the Emimei's Duffel using cold rune on bolas in s28 i cleared a gr 135 with it in under 10 min ... with para and augments i think it could work.. granted i did it for farming and memes but when i went to push i found it really interesting.. that and the fact you group up everything and keep it away from ya is nice single target not so much but works lol i think the single most biggest aspect of this season is the grind... Filthy, can one do the challenge rift this week before the patch drops, but dont complete it just to get a feel of it ahead of time? or is it a dont go in at all? I was thinking of just seeing what toon they use and the layout of the floors.. I never thought to ask that question
That could work, everything is strong this season. As for the challenge rift, by all means have a practise but make sure you don't kill the boss - so maybe skip the last floor completely
@@FilthyCasual96 sweet yeah i want a heads up im still torn between using the bag or not on get go.. i mean the visions will have plenty of mats and im gonna be in it most the season lol
The biggest problem with PTR leaderboard is that they removed "Empowered Shrine" from the Altair with new patch notes... sooooo... all those PTR clears means close to nothing... farming Empowered Shrine is a thing so since they removed it, a lot of builds will loose a lot of their potential. This might be the case with Rathma set as well... While it is very very strong, it also needs a lot of CDR
@@FilthyCasual96 depends on a build... but people are also saying (mostly on the forum) that "frenzy shrine" will now harm a lot of builds. some builds simply can't handle that much attack speed... so i have no idea what and why blizzard is doing at this point... while i understand why they removed Empowered Shrine, they are also creating new problems
Be much easyer n better to see builds that had the same paragon on PTR. Obvsly more para is goin to push builds higher if all builds had the same cap it would be down to actual power n skill..
Probably the ring of fire , group with ww and kill 100 of the small creatures to proc the ring, then repeat. Requires a lot of set up and the tight map/mobs

We need some hacker memes for Filthy in the opener… maybe the horrible Jurassic Park line art 3D sequence, or something from “Hackers”

Totally agree, i come back to d3 after leaving it in season 26 and now i realize how boring d4 is
Well Diablo 4 is dead, Diablo 3 and Diablo 2 are stil very popular.
LoD bazooka and Tal Rasha star pact are not okay anymore - Empowered shrine has been removed from the Altar's random shrine effect.

Maxroll bases there guides at 5k paragon. I think that's far beyond what most players will get.
Look his sheet and u see the paragons his numbers is based off, so dont worry bout maxroll.

but paragon caped or not?
what i know in S29 it was caped to 800
the paragon cap is removed, it was only for season 29
