A truly wonderful campsite in Shrewsbury.

Welcome back to the channel!
In this vlog we visited Shrewsbury and stayed on a beautiful touring park called Oxon Hall, an award winning site on the outskirts of town.
The site is beautiful and extremely well maintained by friendly staff.
We booked a grass pitch which was very spacious and conveniently located close to facilities.
We found this site through The Camping and Caravanning Club and were able to get a small discount.

Just outside the touring park there was a park & ride which we made use of when travelling into Shrewsbury, birth place of Charles Darwin and a historic town boasting many places of interest.
On our last day we went to Shrewsbury Prison. This was a fantastic educational and interactive day out for the whole family (including the dog!).
We were able to see cells as they would have appeared back in the victorian times right up to 2013 when the prison closed its doors. At the prison they also offer guided tours, escape room experiences, ghost tours and overnight stays, AKA a Prison Break!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shrewsbury and will definitely return. We love history filled scenic locations!
