This man deserves a statue at the club, he took over a club that hadn’t won anything in years and made them a club that gave Man Utd a run for their money, also won the league at Anfield. Time he was given recognition of his achievements!!

George sometimes gets forgotten for what he achieved at Arsenal. Especially with the success Wenger had shortly after the George Graham era. However, he laid the foundations for Wengers' success. There are similarities to him and Arteta in the fact that George was trying to beat an unstoppable juggernaut in that Liverpool team of the 80s, and they were huge underdogs. And it had been almost 20 years since the last title. You can see parallels to that era and this one with Arsenal fighting for their first title in almost 20 years against the modern-day juggernaut of City. That 89 season finish at Anfield👌 I was 13 years old watching that game on tv. Unbelievable finish to a season. And that's when I well and truly fell in love with the Arsenal ❤️ It's great to see George looking well👌
George is a bit humble here… he is one of the great figures of the club and did build a good attacking team also - rocastle, merson, limpar etc - thank you for the memories boss! 👍👏

Brilliant Manager gutted when his reign was over, he played a big part for me to start supporting Arsenal back in the 90s. George Graham is still a legend in my eyes.
George Graham who led the Arsenal, to 2 league titles, FA cup, 2 league cups and ECWC. Graham was a self-discipline manager that had a tough defence despite the football was unattractive. Despite he was involved in the bungs scandal as well as controversially joining Tottenham to manage them. Graham was a man who brought honours to the Arsenal.
I wish he had took a stint at Scotland job or another club job perhaps abroad. A great coach and deserves a lot of credit for his time in football even though out the limelight. Well spoken too for a fellow Scotsman. Thanks for posting vid as wondered what he was upto.
In terms of combined success on pitch and in dugout for Arsenal, GG and Pat Rice have got to be up there as the best. Arteta can aspire to this though as he captained us to at least one FA Cup (not sure if Per or him was captain for other one 2014&15) though sadly not quite the league title. A shame Wenger didn't play for Arsenal really!
George Graham is a legend. 6 trophies in 8 years. He gave us the defensive foundation for our later success under Wenger and also won a European trophy, something Wenger couldn’t quite manage. He’s often forgotten about and overshadowed by Wenger’s 22 years and how he left the club but he deserves more credit. And Anfield 89 was probably the greatest moment in football history.
George Graham is a huge legend at Arsenal. He’s completely wrong about Arsenal off the ball, they’re very good off the ball but regardless, he’s a legend.
I was lucky enough to see George play in the 60's and 70's. Great Manager with a style of hard to beat, brought winning ways back to team that hadn't won the league for 18 years...
A tough Scot who drilled his players into winning games by any means necessary unlike Wenger who was a French softy and let our rivals take turns on beating us in his later years. Big respect to George Graham.

He’s famous for being defensive but I remember him playing a season with 4 forwards on the pitch most of the time - Merson Wrighty Campbell and Limpar
