I really like your weekly format for Flossmas. It feels more manageable to me. I love your advent stitch. And your finish is beautiful. Your yarn advent is such soft, pretty colors.
Lauren, those Goosey Fibers are beautiful. I think they’ll look fabulous in the pattern you’re planning to use them for. I’m enjoying your weekly Flossmas videos. Thank you!
Hi catching up on some videos. With regard to finishing items for the tree, Vonna Pfeiffer, the Twisted Stitcher has lots of free tutorials on her TH-cam channel. She us very talented and graciously shares her talent. Your stitching looks great. I really like your Welcome Christmas.
I feel the same as you re: bananas, love bananas, do not usually like banana flavored things. But, i did like this spread. Your new pottery is all fabulous. Seeing everyone’s Evertote Countdown makes me want to get it next year just for the threads 😂 I would never be able to keep up with the stitch but I want those threads! Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching xx
Hi, Lauren. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of your video! Your ornaments are precious, and the yarns are so pretty. Your Welcome finish is amazing, and your pottery buys from your friend are all amazing. She’s very talented! I was so tickled by your pup’s antics with the bags…what kind of dog do y’all have? I’d love to meet her one day! 🐕🦺🤎 Enjoy your week! Meline
I learned from Judy at JBW to use felt with adhesive back rather than batting on the ornaments and it is lovely, plus you can sticky the felt to the matt board. Hugs
I recently just finished The Marriage Portrait. Loved it. I'm a fan of historical fiction. Your stitching is beautiful as usual. I would love to stitch the Dove pattern. Thanks for sharing.
I’m also doing the Holiday Countdown and loving it so far. I pre-ordered Winter Moon on 40ct as well. Excited to see that they are starting to deliver. Artsy Housewife’s charts are amazing, including Lovely Dove. The filthy animal pottery ornament is so cute! Beautiful pottery by your friend.
Really enjoying your Flossmas videos…lots of fun. I have long wanted to do the Christmas at Hollyberry Farm so am enjoying seeing your progress. I have read all the books you are reviewing….I hope that Jane Harper has another book out soon. What gorgeous pottery! I especially love that bowl. The dove pattern is so unique as are the colors..very much like folk art, at least here in the Maritimes. Hope you are having a good week!
The pottery pieces are beautiful. I love the ornaments. I use comic board for ornaments. It’s light and sturdy. Judy Whitman did an ornament tutorial. She recommended it. Chris from Chrisxstitch used a sticky felt on the back of his ornament. Lovey dove looks beautiful
Winter moon is beautiful still waiting for mine I love the dove pattern it is so pretty. Love seeing all your projects they are amazing. Can't wait to see the finish. Your pottery selection is beautiful! Have to try the tazo mint tea.. sounds delicious. thanks for sharing your love of needlework
Was nice to meet you at the Jingle Ball in the stitching room. You are more ambitious than I am - though I want to start a Jacob pattern as a Christmas start. I just finished one pattern and am closing in on a second finish. The dove is great! Love the Advent spreads too.
Just caught up with your Flossmas videos. I’m enjoying them. I love the new Plum Street. It will certainly be beautiful. Your fabric haul is beautiful too. I’m also stitching Christmas at HBF, but am thinking of doing a restart with a different fabric. Thank you for sharing! Have a great week.
Thank you for another fun, jam-packed (literally, haha) flosstube visit. I enjoyed Harper's The Dry, but just couldn't get into the second book. I'll have to check out Exiles when I have time. I've been so impressed with The Artsy Housewife patterns, and would love to try my hand at a number of them, including Lovely Dove. Take care.
Lauren, maybe if you use mat board instead of foam core board, your ornament might feel less bulky. I think it looks great, along with everything else!
Hi, I’m so enjoying your videos. I’m nervous to finish as I’m not really a sewer at all other than cross stitch or a little repair. Looking forward to more videos. I love everything you’re working on. Dove Take care
Thank you for sharing your finishes and wips Lauren. I recently found a finished ornament that was very thin once put together, I will share once I find it. I really love your taste in colors DOVE 🎄 🐕🦺
Love the cables you got! That’s such a good idea. They look way more flexible than the binder rings. I hate that the rings are so bulky in project bags
Oh I can’t wait to get Winter Moon! It’s so pretty! And shucks your modern folk embroidery/Evernote advent stitch is so pretty! I should’ve done it this year! Maybe I’ll try next year! Happy stitching!
I love love love your Winter stitch and your Evertote Holiday stitch is going to be beautiful. I wish I would have ordered it when I got the email. I wasn’t sure what it was going to be, but next year I will definitely order. Looking forward to your next video and seeing your progress on your Evertote Holiday stitch.
I am really enjoying the weekly format! I love your Drawn Thread stitch. Thanks so much for the reading recommendations. I am currently listening to The Marriage Portrait. I really like Jane Harper; so I will check out Exile. ❤️
I've also got the Holiday Countdown though I'm a bit behind because I have been stitching on wips to meet prompts in a Facebook group I'm in. What I have done with the one ornament I did this year and some flat fold finishes is to use acid free comic book boards (I think that's what it's called) for the backing or sometimes both the backing and stitched piece. Love the dove.
Love your videos. FYI at Hobby Lobby (not sure they are inn New Hampshire) if you go to the framing counter and ask for a sheet of acid free 1/8” foam core it is much thinner than all the rest they sell. And the others they sell on the floor are not acid free. I think it is about $15 and is a huge sheet that lasts a while. Hope that helps.
I love the longer videos! I’m making ornaments for my family this Christmas. I’ve never ffo’ed ornaments before but excited to try. And the lovely dove is so cute, I love her charts. ❤
Winter moon is beautiful, can’t wait to see your progress! I need to jump on the artsy housewife band wagon, her charts are so unique! Lovely dove is so pretty! Your friend is quite talented with her pottery 😍 Moroccan mint tea is my fav too!
Thank you for your video. Fun seeing your Advent calendars. Your WIPS are coming along. Great haul, loved all the fabrics! I've forgotten, was there a pattern that came with the yarn calendar? What will you be making with all that lovely yarn? Take care and happy stitching!
I am loving the Evertote holiday stitch…even though I didn’t get it myself. I am watching Caroline every morning and will definitely jump in the band wagon for 2024! Your progress is beautiful!
Some beautiful stitching as always! And thanks for the quick tip on what those little cable ties are called, I’ve been transitioning my floss system and the ring for active WIPs is preferred and I think I’d prefer those to the binder rings
Your puppy story was cute. Our dog identifies with the cold cuts drawer. I give her cheese snacks so when she hears a baggie or the fridge drawer open, she’s front and center! That dove stitch would look great on my wildlife wall I’m starting.
Love your sweet mini finishes. Just wondering if you have to any batting at all or how about felt instead? 😊 Teehee finishing advise from a stitcher who does many stitchy charts but finishes none…so I’m not sure if felt is allowed. Lol. I’m enjoying your Christmas vlogs so much! Those preserves sound yummy would love to hear what your favorites are! Winter Moon is absolutely stunning love that pink house!! Thanks for sharing? Any good Dog walking podcasts this week? I now listen while I walk my fur baby! 😊 so thanks for the suggestion and all the inspiration to keep stitching!! See ya next episode! Hugs -christine ❤🎄
Thanks for sharing your Niagara Falls mug in your last video. I was born there but had never seen the mug you have. I hunted one down and just love it! Thought you might want to know that you don’t just inspire cross stitch purchases. 😂
Mat board would be better. Thanks for sharing. We have dove / doves that hang out in our backyard. Thanks for sharing. I think maybe there are two Jacqueline Boyds? I dont think that was me that you called for wee santa?
It looks like the username matches yours - with 1269 at the end, so it must be you 😊 please email me your address if you’d still like the chart and fabric!
I like that you’re keeping your story of ornament finished.
love your ornaments that you have stitched- a dove at Christmas time is such a precious thing-
The Dove is beautiful. I'm enjoying seeing your Flossmas videos.
I really like your weekly format for Flossmas. It feels more manageable to me. I love your advent stitch. And your finish is beautiful. Your yarn advent is such soft, pretty colors.

I’m really enjoying your flossmas videos. I love listening to the mourning dove cooing.
I also couldn’t resist buying Winter Moon and lover the dove chart.
Thanks for sharing! Your dog story was so cute. My dogs recently started running to the kitchen every time someone gets ice from the dispenser.

I'm stitching berries in bloom as well, but I started it after the jingle ball 😅
I love the colours you picked!
Have a great week 😉
Love the pottery. I went to a shop in Grand Haven MI and they had pottery and I loved it. The giraffe is cute. Have a Merry Christmas!

Happy holidays.
Oh, I don’t know that I’ve seen Lovely Dove before. I have Golden Delicious and Byron Blackbird from her and plan to start one of them in January.

The dove doves love visitors me.
I had to return some binder rings that broke on first opening! Those ties looks way better. Thanks for sharing. :: dove ::
Hi Lauren! For flat ornament finishing, check out Katie Strachan’s tutorials, they’re great.
Enjoyed!
Your ornaments are perfect! And I love living vicariously through your advents. They are so fun! And I’m so excited to see Winter Moon!!!
Hi Lauren- your finished piece of WELCOME Christmas is really gorgeous. Your pottery making friend does really nice work. Happy Holidays! 🎄 dove
Great video!!! Dove
I love your videos!! Dove
I use chipboard instead of foam core, it seems to work well and not too bulky.
I love the longer videos! I’m making ornaments for my family this Christmas. I’ve never ffo’ed ornaments before but excited to try. And the lovely dove is so cute, I love her charts. ❤

I just discovered The Artsy Housewife and love her aesthetic. The Dove pattern looks like a really fun stitch! The pottery is beautiful.
Winter Moon is lovely!!! Dove. Your friend is talented - you chose great pieces.
Thanks for sharing your Niagara Falls mug in your last video. I was born there but had never seen the mug you have. I hunted one down and just love it! Thought you might want to know that you don’t just inspire cross stitch purchases. 😂
I love that you found one!! It's definitely one of my favorites of that collection - I always find myself reaching for it first
