Good stuff. The BattleTech universe is big, wide and often wooly. Nice to hear how ordinary Joe and Jane citizen get along in all that chaos(including the Chaos March).
Out of all of them, the Out world's seems like the best one to actually live in during the current timeline. All the rest are either trying to kill each other, or are despotic Hell holes.
Outworld hasn't been around for a while. The Raven Alliance is a somewhat different state with even less lore. Still better than current Bears... What they did to them is ridiculous... It is like the wolves somehow managed to brainwashed most of the Bears
@huntermad5668 I didn't mention them as the Raven Alliance due to the topic of the video. But I totally agree with you. This actually looks like an alliance; the Ravens got some planets and some badly needed ground forces, and the OA gets some badly needed tech upgrades, without having to 'integrate' into Clan Society. As for the whole Ghost Bear Dominion mess, I blame that one on the new batch of writers at CGL; To them, all Clanners are evil and can't do anything nice.
You've done a great job painting a picture of the Outworlds with the admittedly sparse information. My favourite faction in the game, I was really looking forward to this.
Eh, the Aussies come from convicts exiled out of Europe and I think the “Outworlds” title could also have a subconscious correlation with Oz's “outback” but I do also see some at least traditional similarities, GDN. This society actually reminds me of my home region that I'm back living in...”Texas North”. Rural basis, farm and ranchlands, pioneering. Which is all I'll say here but the Narrator knows where I live 🙂. The natural marriage of stewardship of the surrounding environment with the defense and guardianship of said way of life literally based upon the land. Truly communal, certainly much more than any vague grouping referenced by the use of “community” anywhere in the modern real world, and humane. The Alliance really sounds like what I would consider a civilization, of mutual, actual citizens. More wholesome, legitimate and resiliant than the “citizens” of Demolition Man. While not necessarily accurate portrayals of BattleTech, your chosen artworks used here are as fitting as ever, Narrator. I particularly like the outdoor, Savannah- or Outback-like nature scene after 8:20, as well as another futristic city at 10:30. Stay hungry to learn, kids, while developing a healthy, lifelong state of critical thought and the questioning of speaking from authority. Ahem, modern world, nudge, nudge. The Jawbone Competition clinches it - the Outworlds Alliance is the (North) American Midwest of the 20th century, as a full-on space state of the future. I'd definitely live here, GDN...I feel like I already am, in a precursor. This was surprising and new information to me as I had no idea about the culture of the Outworlds. Thank you as I always do, for covering any and all of what you do towards BattleTech, Narrator. 'Til your next sign-on, next report, have an awesomely healthy and laidback day.
Oh boy at 2:49 that art work It look like Kansas-During the era of the 30's the outworlds alliance Life has great times for slice of Home country living but of course that can still change on the drop of a dime when war Comes around your neck of your neighborhood."😃👍
Got to have my daily dose of GDN goodness. Incidentally, and I know I probably should say this as a comment on your state of the Channel video, I know you've been kind of bummed about slow progress etc, but you really do make lots of people happy with what you do.
Sorry if that video made people think I was unhappy about things. I'm actually pretty content. It's just that seeing others doing well makes me feel like my content sucks sometimes.

It was always planned :)
I think I would choose this place to live, most of all.

The artwork is supposed to be of Australia. I look for Australia-themed artworks on this one.
WOW Australia "I" thought it was Kansas thanks for giving me the differences 👍

Seems like an idyllic place to me.
Thanks. Keep up the good work! 🙂👍
The Outworlds Alliance reminds me of Thomas Jefferson's idea for an ideal society of small industry and agrarianism. Minus the slavery of course.
thanks
Thank you good sir😊
You're very welcome.
I am from a ranch in Wyoming. I know all about the Outworlds.
Hope it was nice there.
