A well looked after diesel can go for 300-400k. They get to a point where it’s no longer economical to fix it, so they’re replaced. Will run forever if serviced right which most bmw owners will do.

On centre dials turning orange at night, i really like it actually! My eyes kinda sensitive, I can't quite stand seeing white lights at night especially.
The combo white at day time, then warm amber colour at night time is something I don't see any other car manufacturers do, which makes me really appreciate BMWs.

      @@ArmaganDemiral yes indeed.
Another thing i notice BMW does that most others don't is positioning speakers at door panel higher, so it frees up more lower pocket area. I'm like... Why don't most others do this too? It's eating so much space, you're left with tiny space just enough for 500 ml bottle, which is a bummer when you realise BMW do better at this.

To clarify the timing chain issue. Is relevant to the E90 model not the F30 which is this one. Albeit they use the N47 engine the one that has the timing chain issue is the engines manufactured between 2007-2008. For the later models the issue has been resolved as admitted by BMW. The reviewer is not really giving good info. I have the 2013 F30 320ED had it since 2014 at 20k miles and now it's at 125k miles and all I ever done is normal services as advised, wear and tear such as tyres and brake pads apart from that nothing else has been changed and is still running strong like a 30k miles car. Also if I knew back when I had it at 30k-60k miles I would have installed a stage 1 map. The ED engine is locked to lower bhp that it actually can produce. But even as it is pulls to 140mph on autobahn without any issue what so ever even now! Only downside is the interior looks too classic now.
