This heights are all sus, first off Kevin hart is 5’2 and there is no way the Rock or Bautista are taller than 6’3. Saw the rock beside an old Dave Hasselhoff is Baywatch and Dave was clearly taller. Another thing to point out is that Arnie is not 6’2. He stood with Andre and Wilt and he wasn’t even close to where 6’2 ballers are when next to 7fters
Subtract 3 to 4 inches, and most likely, that's their actual height. I (5'11") stood next to Jason Statham once, and I'm definitely not just an inch taller😅

Some of them were really surprising. I had no idea DeVito was so short and Eastwood was so Tall. It's clear that director's do a lot in camera and with blocking to adjust the heights up and down. Several stars seemed to have disproportionately large heads too. Good work by World Data to put this together. I agree with the comment below that some actors give official heights taller than their real height. You can tell by comparing photos when they are next to someone or something of a known height.
The different head sizes are sometimes a result of how the photo was taken. At red carpet events photographers sometimes use angles where they are a bit further away and point the camera down a bit from a higher position, that changes the proportion of the body. :) Like the effect when some people look very different when they take selfies. Its a matter of focal length.
If Robert Downey Jr. is 5’8.5”, then I am 6’1”, instead of 5’7” at my peak. He may be pushing that height in his custom made shoes with lifts, but there is zero chance he is that tall in flat, bare feet.
He's 5'9". I've stood next to him once and his exactly my hight but much fitter. Looked from afar, he looks taller than me because of his fit condition that makes his limbs look thinner and thus enhance the hight perspective. Only side by side could we see that we were the same hight. This happens with women too. Body shape and limb length affects the perspective of height to an extent.

He's been photographed wears shoes with obvious lifts while filming for movies. So yeah, DeNiro is probably closer to 5'7" than 5'9". Of course, some people also shrink as they age--the cartilage between their vertebrae becomes compressed, resulting in them having a shorter stature. So maybe he was 5'9" early in his film career, but at age 81, certainly not.
You can easily notice that Leto is a little lower than Colin Farrell. Nothing above 175 John Travolta told himself that he's 6 feet tall. 6'2 is just misinformation from the Internet

Dwayne Johnson isn't 6'5". That was his wrestling listed weight. We saw him in Miami Beach and he's no more than 6'2" tops. Interesting list though. So many leading men are average height or shorter. Action heroes are in the "above average" to "kinda tall" categories, and if you're taller than that, you're in a superhero/supervillain movie.

5'10 is in the range of average to tall in most of the countries. Unless you are in the Netherlands or a country with similar heights, you can't be called short.
I think it’s strange how some of them I thought were shorter were actually taller and the ones I expected to be taller were shorter. I disagree with the height of Arnold Schwarzenegger. I’ve seen him in person and fairly close. He was in the library of the school I taught at about 20+ years ago for a program about fitness. His entourage all showed up in black Hummers and he had a bright yellow one. He’d had a recent shoulder injury and was wearing a sling. I’m sure he wasn’t more than 5’9”.

En mi caso para creer en la estatura de alguien, generalmente miro el largo de sus brazos y de las piernas, no de los muslos, cuando veo a personas, como en este caso "actores " en la pantalla como se que la cámara puede aumentar o disminuir despende el ángulo, miro sus piernas y brazos, cuando va abrazar algo o subir alguna escalera, pudieras hacer un cálculo, por supuesto muy liberal' de su altura real, 😂😂😂, pero ellos son muy buenos actores , bueno la mayoría de los que ahi presentaron 😊😊

Dwayne Johnson isn't 6'5". That was his wrestling listed weight. We saw him in Miami Beach and he's no more than 6'2" tops. Interesting list though. So many leading men are average height or shorter. Action heroes are in the "above average" to "kinda tall" categories, and if you're taller than that, you're in a superhero/supervillain movie.
an actor/actress gives their of gift portraying a character that you become engrossed with the character and the story they're conveying -- height makes no difference its the gift they have
Nope, some of the actors are “Hollywood Tall” that’s what they have on paper and without their consent or their publicist/agent, they won’t do a measurement.
My buddy who is 5’6” met vin diesel at a bar in Florida, being the way he is, he made fun of the dude’s real height and got kicked out by diesel’s bodyguards. Micheal B Jordan and Bruce Willis are not 6’ they’re way shorter than that. Oh, and Stallone, is 5’7” ish not 5’9.5”

@ Yes! I agree with you. John Travolta is definitely under 6’ tall because I found a picture of him next to Jeff Bezos, who is 5’7”, and John Travolta was about the same height. My guess is Jeff Bezos was wearing lifts that made him the same height as John Travolta, which I would guess is 5’10” or 5’11”. In addition to John Travolta being listed incorrectly, they have Robert Downey Jr. listed as 5’8.5”.🙀🤦🏻♀️ There is no way he is that tall. Even wearing lifts (elevator shoes), I do not think he is that tall. He always wears lifts in public and his wife is super tiny so it makes him look bigger, but he cannot be 5’8.5” in bare feet. I found a picture of him wearing custom lifts and they were giving him a solid 3” in additional height.

In the early 1990s I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger, in person, on the Oprah Winfrey Show and there is no way he is over 6’ tall. He may be around 5’9” to 5’10”.

All I got from this is Steve Carell is the same height as Tom Hardy and taller than the Hulk and they and Brad Pitt are all under very under 6ft. Society is shallow and the Rock is tall.

Being 5'10", I always considered myself a bit short... I'm surprised to see how many of these guys are shorter than I am!
5'10 is in the range of average to tall in most of the countries. Unless you are in the Netherlands or a country with similar heights, you can't be called short.

I think it’s strange how some of them I thought were shorter were actually taller and the ones I expected to be taller were shorter. I disagree with the height of Arnold Schwarzenegger. I’ve seen him in person and fairly close. He was in the library of the school I taught at about 20+ years ago for a program about fitness. His entourage all showed up in black Hummers and he had a bright yellow one. He’d had a recent shoulder injury and was wearing a sling. I’m sure he wasn’t more than 5’9”.
