the first half of the video i had a sus feeling cause that the nicer part of Oakland, but the middle part (albeit with less trash and homeless) is the Oakland i knew and grew up living... any street on Adeline, Market, San Pablo, West Grand feels like home for me. im no longer in Oakland, but i got Oakland pumping in my veins.
Lol! Yeah I did start in the nicer part of The Town. Do you have a chance to visit much? I've been hearing the crime is increasing.

Last time we were there, excuse me. Best breakfast is on fruitvale at 35th two doors up from the Lucky's grocery store (if they are still there visiting, many moons ago) they specialize in the best super sized omelettes EVER

Good question! It was worse in 2020. It could be that a lot of people left, or the time of day, but in the past it used to be jam packed on weekends. This was a Saturday afternoon, if I recall properly.

The homeless encampments are a new thing. This came about during the occupy Wall Street protests. After that those people never actually left, and began sleeping outside in tents.
