Sir I have an eye on this startup since 2018 November and its first ARAI certified conversion company in India. But they are converting cars of fleet operators only. Private car owners can't convert their cars and only a handful models of cars can be converted.
commercial cars can recover cost fast within 2 years. personal vehicle can take 5-8 years

Conversion cost is higher because of battery. If the cost of batteries comes down in near future then the conversion cost will be comparingly low. So in my suggestion please wait for that day to come and convert.

Shall Convertion accept in RTO? And what about 15 year old car? This is usefull for it
vehicle is first required to be fit for conversion. get it inspected by an RTO officer and obtain fitness certificate.
you should not go for conversion at an age beyond 10 years for petrol car and 15 years for diesel car. it is a far better choice to go buy a new electric car (if u can afford it) since you get an all new vehicle.

@@nowpresent2167 because petrol and diesel car maximum age till regn is valid are 10 and 15 years respectively. for mid-life rehabilitation of vehicle get a fitness certificate first from RTO.
