At least Demon slayer's plot armor isn't that bad compared to other anime where character strength continues to grow due to how it demonstrates why the plot armor works (at least for most of the time)

The stomach is a soft spot that vulnerable. Even if you have a strong core all it takes is a sufficient strike to the stomach to at least make someone gag. If you go up higher to just above the stomach entering the rib area you also have your solar plexus. Which, when struck, will knock the breath out of you. Not to mention is very painful. So, in her real, the stomach area is a good aim spot. (I’m a former martial arts student lol.)
