Thank you for this video. I want to travel to Malta but I avoid places where food costs too much. Malta prices are the same as where I live in Canada which is not a bad thing. Thanks again, this was very helpful and informative 😊

My first visit to Malta was in 1969 with the RAF and it was unbelievably cheap. Carton of 200 cigarettes less than £1. Sadly Malta joined the EU and today prices are close to UK levels.

That is a lot cheaper than in New Zealand. We are paying three times those prices. Strange...
I’m sorry to hear that! :( but we should also mention that here you don’t earn that much. I moved to Australia last year and the difference is crazy! The quality of life here is way better than Malta or Italy!
@@Margherita_Dolcevita_Languages This is true. If you already had lots of money or a decent income, Malta would be a great place to visit. It looks really complicated to buy a house in Malta, and expensive, but the hotels and everything else is good.
If you want to save money don't buy anything in a can. Buy it fresh in the local market. tastes better as well

So much of the world;s salmon is BAD FARM RAISED, hard to find fresh caught anywhere
Here in Brasil it's all from Chilian fish farms, I refuse to eat it
Hi! The salmon in Malta is often farmed, however it is possible to get fresh Norwegian salmon as well, but an upcharge compared to the nordic countries, where I used to live.
