Great reaction. This unit song and MV are both 🔥🔥🔥.
The bird references and San being in a birdcage are 100% ATEEZ lore/storyline.
Pretty much ALL of ATEEZ's songs and MV's are tied to their complex and very fascinating and cool storyline (sometimes just lyrically or sometimes with little "Easter eggs" that you have to look for in the sets/background of the mv's).
That's also why San had the blue shirt on in the cage (and both Yeosang & Wooyung had blue shirts on in parts of the mv, too,).
ATEEZ has MANY references to birds (and often, BLUE birds, in particular) in many of their song lyrics (the lyrics to Halazia, where Yeosang sings about the blue bird that has lost its voice), mv's (Inception & The Real mv's), comeback/album trailers (Yeosang is riding a moped with the word "Bluebird" on the back in The World: Outlaw album trailer that was released right before Bouncy mv came out) , mv prologues & epilogues, their Diary Film and throughout the storyline itself... the most recent time we saw the bluebird is at the very end of the Crazy Form MV. So birds are VERY significant, symbolic, and prominent in ATEEZ's lore. Hongjoong said that they were still going to sprinkle their storyline in all of the unit mv's, which they did very creatively. 💙
