The song is heavily influenced by traditional korean music and actually includes traditional korean instruments like Taepyeongseo (what you thought were bagpipes) as well as Gayageum and Haegeum , which are both string instruments. Along with that they also used Korean percussion throughout the entire song. It's essentially a homage to their homeland. The lyrics talk about kindness and humility, that moral values is what makes people "Real", which also ties in with it being an homage, as South Korea's still a culture that values humility and respect a great deal.
As for the MV, the boys are divided in Groups/Clubs. We have the Baseball club, Calligraphy club and the Biker club. Mingi is the new kid that just transferred to the school and they all want to recruit him, trying to influence him but he sticks to his good morals. We also have Yeosang (guy in the white suit) who's the peacemaker, hence the doves around him.

You should react to MATZ which is a song with two members: Hongjoong and Seonghwa. Hongjoong is a real good rapper and Seonghwa also shows off his skills even thought he’s the lead vocalist (could be main) and only got the position as rapper officially after bouncy era.
