- This is a compilation of all the Minecraft mob votes and biome votes animations from 2017-2023!
Every year Mojang release a Minecraft mob vote, where they get the community to vote upon different mobs or biomes, and the winner gets to be in Minecraft. This is though Minecraft Live or Minecraft Earth. These are all the animations from biome votes and mob votes from 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023! These votes include Phantom, Deep sea creature, Nether Monster, Snapper, Desert biome, Taiga Biomes, Savanna Biome, Badlands Biome, Swamp Biome, Mountains Biomes, Moobloom, iceologer, Glow Squid, Glare, Iron Golem, Allay, Sniffer, Rascal, Tuff Golem, Crab, Penguin, Armadillo

Ironic how the glow squid was introduced as making the oceans glow-y-er and now only spawns in caves, and the trailer advertised it as hypnotizing players, and all it does is commit suicide and drop a decoration item. We could have had a moobloom or iceologer!

yeah the mounains won so they added that first. the way the voting works is whatever wins will be focused on for this update and the ones that lose wont be focused on but people will work on it in the background.

I think we should come back to voting for biome updates, since unlike the mob votes, the biomes that lose come back later, as seen with the frog and swamp, being which one is next. So like even if the Armadillo lost, maybe it could come back along side the Ostrich and the other stuff
I'm still waiting for the awesome Savana update to happen which somehow lost to a fox with a pointless berry bush and small campfire

@@cimarronMCtbh, the bushes berries saved my hungry ass sometimes and the campfires are awesome and very aesthetic, especially in villages!
3 of the 5 biomes have already been updated. Taiga, ice mountains and the swamp. So I wouldn't be surprised if very soon one of the other two get's added.
They should every once in a while, have a Mob Redemption Vote alongside the regular mob vote. Sure some mobs, such as the Glare, lost because they were no good. But for others, such as the Copper Golem, the vote was quite close. So why not every once in a while, give some of the mobs that didn't win another chance? separate from the main mob vote.
I need a Redemption Round for the Copper Golem and the Moobloom. I love those lil' goobers.
@talia7315 moobloom is the biggest betrayal in history, i definitely wish there was mob redemption 😢 it's unlikely we'll ever see it outside of mods though
maybe make a mob redemption vote every 10 years giving them a chance to have spear mobs from previous votes for there to be a redemption vote

Well, all of them were Hostile. Imagine that Mob hiding on the sand trying to kill you or the Mob on the ocean tryin go to kill you with it’s large mouth. People’s gonna complain about everything

Most people typically stay up during the night to mine, farm, mobs, and other things. I think people's main issue with the Phantoms and reason for voting them was because it sounded cool. Manta ray like creatures that, as people imagined, would stalk you the longer you go without sleep, seeing a few among the clouds at night. Eventually after long enough, they'd start swooping down at you from the skies and perhaps being an unsettling mob, something that doesn't come at you immediately but rather watches bfore striking. Instead of that we got basically a flock of birds that appears and pecks you to death coincidentally just when you've completely forgotten about them.
@@linksnivey1161 It is also mentioned in the vote that they were going to spawn in high altitudes and were attracted to insomnia, not that they spawn from insomnia. Miscommunication ruined a few of the choices for people.

What they should do for votes is that we can choose what mob or biome gets added FIRST, and then in the future they add the others in a major update. I think that would be a much better idea
They have decided to do so with the biome votes.... but not the mob votes.

@@Shyontheinternet99I like it. The blaze, phantom & mob an all just are fights that slow you down. Enchantment eater gets rid of your good enchantments giving you more reason to play and get them back

It is absolutely criminal the Iceologer lost to people wanting another stupid squid that beaches itself and dies and doesn't even glow or spawn in oceans. Plus the wildfire losing to the phantom is another criminal loss. I love wildfires in Dungeons

Well, if if effect works on ice and penguins can be brought into the nether, the already ridiculously fast boat on blue ice method gets even faster.the crab and the claws they drop would be incredibly useful for people who play creative mode as they'd be able to quickly build collasal structures. The armadillo being useful for making wolf armor is incredible, as we can go anywhere and worry less about our little pooch dying.

This year’s mob vote is the first one that I won’t be upset with whatever we receive! They’re all useful and similar in cuteness/looks and I think they took so many steps in the right direction for the mob vote.
Meeeh, personally I dunno how "extending your *building* range" or "making boats faster" will actually end up being, so I´m probably voting for Armadillo
I would be upset if the penguin was picked, it has the worst addition out of the 3 and sounds like a hassle to get back home

I’m pretty sure the armadillo wins because it’s such a new mechanic and a great design, but I just honestly see every mob being able to enhance gameplay no matter what is chosen.

For the sniffer, it was a choice between a useless late game hide-and-seek reward and a glorified, moving item frame lol
Makes me sad for all the cool things that didn’t win, but since some of the losing things found their way in the game eventually, hopefully others will too

The Great hunger may have lose but it's ability is passed down to Grindstone. So i think Armadillo is kind of useless because soon or later Wolf's armor will be added anyway as crafted items without needing Scute from Armadillo, or maybe can be found like Horse's armor. I don't know why we need to vote a certain mobs to get wolf's armor, i mean just add it with the items we already have.
Since the chest boat and frog were eventually added despite not winning, im pretty sure some of the mobs will be added eventually. Especially fhe golems

i believe the great hunger would've actually been the worst possible mob in the entire game.
imagine dying in a cave or accidentally dropping an item, for it to remove your enchantments.

Personally, I don't think the crab claw will be very used. It's going to be something that you have to hold, so it will be more annoying than useful, replacing a shield or totem of undying. The wolf armor is obviously not going to do much, and people still wouldn't take their dogs to battle. I like that the penguin speeds up boats. It makes ice boats crazy and they are better than dolphins since they affect the most common mode of transportation. But they are all cool.

The 3rd sounds like an instant win to me, but this time, the cutest mob also seems to be the most useful.
the worst thing about some of the biome votes and even mob votes is that there are things that the game NEEDS as a fact, yet mojang thinks is a good idea to simply make ppl vote, the deserts need an update for many years now, but it got abandoned as if ppl didnt want, every mob vote leads to LIMBOED ideas ans updates the game needs.
there are some stuff that came in later updates YES i know, but still is such a shame that we lose more than win with these votes

There is hope for the things that didn't win to be added. The swamps with frogs is an example for that. We still have hope they add the mobs we wanted.

No. The biome vote and mob votes are different. We get all biomes (with the winner coming first) but will only get one mob
I find them fun because it let's choose what mob/biome should be in Minecraft first, and it gives us hyped for the others to be added in the future.
I do hope the deserts, savanna and Badlands be updated one day.
i hope savanna is next. at least deserts have temples and the badlands have mineshafts and gold. savanna literally has nothing lol.

I just realised the first mob vote mobs were just asking us which update they shouldn’t add. Mob A wasn’t chosen so they made update aquatic later, mob D wasn’t chosen so they made the nether update later. We should be thankful we got the phantom instead of the night update
My opinion is that Mojang should add all mobs from the mob vote but only the winning mob will spawn naturally
the other mobs should only be accessed through commands so we can enjoy them too!
I wish the savanna gets an update more then just a mob, maybe adding structures, it could make the game more fun and the savanna won be so useless
I think Mojang should just tell us mobs to vote for, but just not say anything about their abilities this way it will create a lot less controversy but also you should definitely go vote for the armadillo
I just realised that we DID eventually get one of the biome votes (swamp) despite not winning. That gives me hope that everything else may get added soon…

Mob votes have really changed from the worst. From four vague, fantasy creatures with no names to three cute little wildlife animals that genuinely should all be added.
The biome vote was also a nice option since we know we'll get to see it all eventually (We got Swamps and Mountains now and my hunch is this new update will be deserts/badlands).

Aurelien, peut-être que le mob vote peut être utile mais en ajoutant les trois mob (oui ça parait bizzare mais je vais m'expliquer) en gros on pourait voter pour le mob qu'on veut voir le plus rapidement venir, par exemple :
l'année dernière on nous a demander de voter entre le Sniffer, le Raskal et le Tuff Golem et cette année on nous a demander de voter entre le Crabe, le Tatou et le pingouin (ou manchot on s'en fou c'est pas le coeur du sujet) et l'année dèrniere on a voter pour le Sniffer puis le Raskal puis le Tuff Golem et cette année c'est le Tatou puis le Crabe puis le Pingouin donc selon mon idée il vaudrait ajouter le Tatou et le Raskal qui était le deuxième au vote l'année dernière et l'année prochaine il ajouteront le Crabe qui est le deuxième de cette année et le Tuff Golem qui est le dernier de l'année dernière et il ajouteront aussi le gagant de l'année prochaine donc en tout ils ajoute à chaque fois 3 mobs mineure et un mob majeur comme le Warden, le Dromadaire et le Breeze de cette année.

There's a reason they word the Mob Votes as "Which mob would you like use to add next or add first" most will be added in the end.
i dont like how they made the glow squid look like it can hypnotize, it makes it seem like it has an ability it doesnt have
The hunger was the only 1st mob vote option that could’ve been useful, all the others besides maybe the big blaze
the hungers mechanic of removing enchants would later get added in the next update with the grindstone so im kinda glad it lost, so we dont have to take a giant lizard that can burrow under ground into our enchanting rooms if we want enchants removed, we can just use the block

i cant be the only one who found the hovering inferno really cool. i would’ve voted for it because the mob seemed like it dropped good loot when killed, and by good loot i mean its helmet or shields and of course blaze rods.
